It's not fair for either of your dogs, and throwing in a little of the past it's not really fair that you say piper probably most likely will develop problems because she was backyard bred because you don't know her mother or father or anything. So you can't really judge.
But ANYWAYS, moving away from that, both of yours dogs hVe it unfair. There will ALWAYS be people that no matter what kind of dog, the breed, size, or shape, there will be people out here who do or say something to make it unfair.
The only thing I can't agree with, saracirce, is that end bit, that "your dogs have it less fair" than fuzzies. That's like looking a somebody who is starving themselves and saying, "you should be grateful that at least you have food! Don't waste it! People in Africa have it much worse!"
And that's not right.
BOTH of your dogs don't have it fair and no dog has it "less fair than the other".
Edit: why are we fighting with ourselves? We can both agree it's other, stupid people out there that cause this. So what is there to argue on? Geez. Seriously, all it is lately is arguing with each other on this thread, and I know I'm one to talk, but it's time to stop and take it to pm.
Nobody likes to see this or get picked on and bullied, and it's time to start letting things go.

MaybeitsNeighbelline wrote:Piper has figured out the mirror too. We have a long mirror at the end of our downstairs halway and since piper has rein over that area and the kitchen, when we leave we always give her a cookie which is in front of the mirror so when she's out of the gate sometimes she will look at you as you stand in front of the mirror, and then look at you in the mirror and point to her treats with her nose.
So not only can she grasp the sense of mirror, she also can grasp which direction the treats are in while looking in the mirror, and that's more than I can do! Haha (if I try to fix my bangs in the mirror, which are on the left side, if I'm focusing on the mirror too much I'll try to brush away the right side of my face >.>)

And, yeah, it is fair for us to say that Piper MAY develop behavioral issues. You don't know the father either. You never met him. The mother was just a farm dog. Piper's not being socialized or exercised enough and your mother won't let you train her. You really think you're going to get a perfect, well-behaved dog? And wouldn't matter if you had gotten Piper the way you did or if you'd found her in a shelter as a puppy. We would've said the SAME. EXACT. THING.
And wow, yeah, I'm so mean and such a bully. How in the world do I even have friends? How does my family put up with me? Like, wow.
