Hello, I am Clovis, the great explorer! I am a four year old brave explorer who loves to explore the forest outside my cave. I am very brave and go on lots of cool adventeers all the time. this is my journal. its where I keep all of my information about all of my asome adventures and thigns i find. its super top secret thou, so please do not read. if you find this journal please bring it back to my cave! thank you!

Note from me: I had planned to go spearhead hunting out in the forest a few weeks ago, and I was going to photograph some of my spearheads and cool looking places I know of for Clovis' journal. But the weather has gotten terrible and I never got to go due to the extreme low temperatures. I wanted to put more creativity in this but the weather prevented it, I hope you understand.

August 8th, 2013

Today I was explorin and I found a spearhead in the river near my secret cave. I was skiping some rocks and almost threw it in the river, but I felted some chips in it and looked at it. Its not a very good one but I like it cause I almost threw it and lost it forever. It is my favoorite one so far because it is speshul to me. My book says its a Manaza point and is 7,000 years old. I wonder how it ended up in the river. Maybe somebody acidentally was skiping rocks and skiped it in.

I was climbin trees with Puffle today. He was at the top of a tree and i was on the first branch. My feet were slippin and but i wasn't scared at all, cause explorers are brave. And I am the greatest explorer. I climbed up some branches and got too close to a bird nest. I didnt see it but the mommy bird was mad at me for scarin her babys so she flew at my and knocked my out of the tree. i feel through the branches and hit the ground. it hurt but i didn't cry because I am an explorer and sometimes I get hurt. I saw a rock under one of the tree roots. it was shiny and cool shaped. I picked it up and looked at it close. It was a space rock! I told Puffle and he came down the tree and said it was not a space rock. But I kno it is. Its not even in my book because my book doesn't know about space rocks.

September 26th, 2013

I went on an adventeer today in the forest. I followed the rocky stream for a few hours looking for some cool rocks and maybe even a spearhead. I was also runnin from the evil puffle munster, but I am much faster than him so i didnt have to worry. I am too brave to run, i if he came back i was just gonna face him with my homemade pointy stick. i was looking at the rocks and i saw a strange point poking up from the mud. i picked it up and it was a spear head, my biggest one yet! the point is hard to match up in my book so i dont really kno what kind it is, but its a good one i kno it. i started to walk home to show daddy and then i found another spear head! it my smallest one. it wasnt finished being made when the native americans lost it so i will never know what kind it is, but i still realy like it. Daddy was very impressed with my new findings, it made me feel happy.

October 11th, 2013
Today was a hard day to be a explorer. The weater was really bad, it was very rainy and muddy outside. even though i am an explorer i dont like the mud, i dont like being dirty. so today i put on my rain geer and went out to explore. i didn't go near any water in case of floods, but sometimes you acn find cool rocks washed up in the mud. I was sitting on a log and eating some berries i found, kiking at the mud with my boots. I felt a rock and dropped my berries and dug the rock out. it felt shaped like a spear head, i got super excited and dug it all the way out. it wasnt a spear head, it was just a plain old rock! I was really mad but now i kinda like the rock, its smooth and has sparkles in it. it looks good in my collection, im happy i found it.

Today is haloween! Its on of my favorite days ever of the year. I dont really like candy, but i love scaring my brothers and sisters and not getting in trouble. i dont like i when they try and scare me though, because it never works cause im a brave explorer. I only had a few hours to explore but i found something super cool! it was playing in the shallows of the river with my brothers and i found a fossil crystal rock! One side has shiny crystals and the other has seashell fossils. Meanie face took it and tried to throw it in the river, but i told him id tell mom and he gave it back. is one of my favoritetess things, its so awesome!

Today I as down by the river by myself, skiping rocks. Its hard to find good rocks to skip but today I found the most perfect rocks! They were as flat as a pancake. I'm putting them in my collection, and maybe one day on the perfect day I will skip them all away across the river.

November 17th, 2013
Today my daddy found something in the forest for me. Its super awesome but kinda scary, and it makes me kinda sad. I really like turtles, they are so cute and funny looking. My daddy found me a turtle shell. its super old and white. I like it, i use it to hold some of my rocks. but it makes me sad when i wonder what happened to the poor turtle. Hopefully he went away happy, cause turtles are always scared and being scared is not fun. i think its the turtle i used to feed grapes to, because that was a happy turtle who wasnt scared always.

Its not very cold for it almost being winter, i still got to play outside today! I was playing my secret cave, hiding out aways from my crazy jam. i found a super cool rock! its not just any old rock i can find, its something super special. its smooth and grey, and one side has weird white carvings in it. I dont think its from ersoin like my book talks about sometimes. it looks like somebody carved it! I think a cave bean made it, and the whole picture is somewhere in my cave where i am too big to go because caves shrink down over time. maybe one day i can be a rock scientist and find out!
