Rate: 9/10
Type: Traditional
Reasoning: Cherry- does work for a dark ginger cat (though she's a little orange-brown, but it still works). I'm not exactly sure if -cloud could apply to her, but I think that it could fit just fine if you made her a little more patient and calm.
Alternative Name: None! Just what's above.

Oliverstorm wrote:Name: Whiskerwing
Description: Whiskerwing is a light brown tom with long matted tabby fur. His eyes are pale green. His fur color, as said before, is light brown but it has black, white, grey, and a faint red thrown in to the mix.
Important Notes: I added the 'wing' suffix to describe his pelt, which is like a bird's or something. The wing doesn't get used often, and since it comes in so many varieties and colors, it seemed to fit and cover all the colors. He is a very skilled hunter, more of a runner than a fighter.

Image/Description: Image
Name: Whiskerwing
Gender: Male
Clan: Dark Forest
Rank: Warrior
Personality/Skills: Whiskerwing is easy to snap sometimes, but really he hates being where he was. He had a terrible flash of ambition and tried to kill the deputy when the Clan was leaderless. He now regrets his choice. Always loyal before, Whiskerwing would serve his Clan as a hunter rather than a fighter.
Important Notes: Same as above c:

Name Rating: 3/10
Name Type: Creative
Name Reasoning: While alliterative naming is nice, this doesn't really make any sense. Whisker- says nothing about the cat's actual appearance as a prefix (as a suffix, however, it would work), and I feel like I've ranted about -wing before? Maybe not. Basically, -wing isn't a valid suffix for two reasons:
A) Cats do not have wings, and thus it doesn't apply to them (traditional suffixes work on physical parts of the body for skills/appearance/personality, and the only three excluded aside from -star are -storm, -cloud, and -leaf).
B) Whatever -wing wants to say is already said by a few suffixes. Is the cat so fast it's like they're flying? That's a -foot. Are they agile, and very good at climbing trees to catch birds? That's a -tail.
C) Even if it was supposed to describe his fur, wings, like feathers and birds, come in many, many, many colors, shapes and sizes. No two species have the same wings, and the closest you'll get to a wing that looks like his fur is a pigeon or robin.
Besides that, this fellow is a skilled hunter! He ought to be named for something he can do, not something he can't.
Alternative Name: Rockwhisker/Stonewhisker. As a suffix, -whisker shows that he's a very good hunter, and both Stone- and Rock- are for a greyish-brown cat (which, from his picture, he's mostly comprised of).
Quick note for all: Stone- usually refers to a grey cat, Rock- to a brown, however I've always seen them as interchangeable.

Character Rating: 6/10
Character Reasoning: Here's one thing that I want to address right quick. The coat color you described is a dilute tortoiseshell. Tortoiseshell, dilute or not, and calicoes are a female-specific thing. It is possible for a male cat to be a tortoiseshell, and that's called a chimera (which is what happens when two embryos with different color genetics fuse together in the womb). These are incredibly rare, and also infertile, which is why I recommend against having a male tortoiseshell/calico. If you want to keep him that way, that's fine, but I would research the effects of being a chimera cat before anything else.
Meanwhile, I don't think that an atoning sinner is exactly a bad thing, but his reason or being in the Dark Forest is a little shaky. A sudden ambition strong enough to kill the deputy in a time like that? Perhaps he should have just vied for deputy-hood, already strongly desiring power, and then when he wasn't chosen by the new leader, actively planned the murder of the deputy. Maybe it wasn't until he went to the Dark Forest that he slowly began to realize that he had messed up, and now he seeks redemption.

One thing I want everyone to know: Ambition itself is not an evil trait. What you do to attain what you want is a reflection of your character, not the desire itself.
Allow me to pull up the definition of ambition:
am·bi·tion
Noun
A strong desire to do or to achieve something, typically requiring determination and hard work.
A hard working cat is absolutely the best thing a Clan can have. There is a difference between ambition and a thirst for power.

Ahh, I was wondering how long it'd be until I got a real-life cat (or real life based, at least).

Name Rating: 6/10
Name Type: Canonical
Name Reasoning: Both parts are traditional, but I don't think that they belong on this cat, even with that fluffy tail of hers. The main reason I don't suggest naming a cat for one specific part of their body, such as a white cat called Pinknose or Blacktail, is because that part of their body is not guaranteed to stay that way. The nose could dull or the tail could be scarred or straight-up ripped off (in which case that would require a name like Halftail or something). She has a very beautiful black coat with pretty white markings, and I think that should be mentioned over one part of her.
Alternative Name: Swiftface/Cootface. They sound funny, I know, but I promise I have an explanation. I, personally, think that the cat (or at least the picture you have) is very pretty, and that's definitely worth a name. If you don't feel the same way, thens tick with -fur or -pelt. Both the Swift and the Coot are black birds with some white markings (so no, I'm not referencing a fast cat. That's not an acceptable name to me, haha).

Character Rating: 9/10
Character Reasoning: As this is based on a real life cat, I don't think there's too much to detract from. Her personality isn't bad either, so you're good to go!

Silverclaw
Name Rating: 9/10
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: His name fits him perfectly - he is a grey cat, and he does have a lot of skill in fighting. What I noticed, though, is that he's also skilled in hunting, though to a lesser degree, so I think that should be mentioned in his name. My only other complaint is that Silver- is a very commonly used name, but I don't think that should be too big of a problem either way.
Alternative Name: Silverfang/Birchfang. The -fang indicates his skills, and Birch- is an alternative to Silver-.

Character Rating: 10/10
Character Reasoning: He's definitely leader material. Every Clan needs a confident, capable leader at the helm, and he seems to fit that bill perfectly. I do thank you for not naming him for his strategic abilities, as well as giving him something to do with that intelligence. It's grating to see a cat who's brilliant but doesn't really do anything with that!

Crowshadow
Name Rating: 8/10
Name Type: Canonical/Traditional
Name Reasoning: Shadow- would fit him as well as Crow-, but as a suffix, it falls flat. He's very clearly a skilled hunter (and a fighter, which I assume is by ambush), which would be a -whisker, not a -shadow. Other than that, I don't think there's too much to comment on; his prefix fits him just fine, and he's a very nice looking cat! (I adore Orientals. They're my weakness.)
Alternative Name: Crow-whisker/Crowfang. Since he does have some experience in fighting, he could fit in with the -fangs, but I suggest -whisker for the reasons in the Character section.

Character Rating: 8/10
Character Reasoning: Both of the cats you've given me are -fang worthy, and while that's not a bad thing, I think that the lower ranking cat (Crow in this case) should have his skills mostly rested in the hunting area, to spread out the suffixes a little better. I'd say lower his fighting, or make him skilled in ambushing, and keep his hunting level where it's at.

She also made a group of rouges try and kill her and they are still going after her.

Name Rating: 7/10
Name Type: Canonical
Name Reasoning: Rain- is used mostly for a grey tabby (specifically, a dappled one like so.) Rainstar is more of a vaguely pointed cat, which is uncommon (well, nearbouts impossible) in the wild, but we can work out a name just fine thanks to her greyness (straight up points, like the Siamese cats, are really hard to find a name for).
Now, her warrior suffix, -snow, I'm a little more cross with. -snow doesn't really say anything about her, and I can't even think of a reason (a good one, that is) why she'd have it. If it means she has a cold personality (she doesn't), then that's not really a good thing to name her for. I can't think of anything else, really.
Alternative Name: Just for her warrior-hood: Mistfur/Willowfur. Both are for grey cats (and I always imagine that Mist- cats have a few vague markings here and there), and since she has no outstanding skills or traits, -fur will do just fine. I didn't suggest -pelt since it connotes a shorter furred cat, but if you prefer that suffix, then go ahead and use it.

Character Rating: 7/10
Character Reasoning: While she isn't a problem, I have to wonder about this cat who's so determined to ruin her life. Why? Because she's jealous? Jealous of what? Jealousy isn't enough to turn a cat or a person psychotic (unless there was already some mental issues in the first place, but that's an entirely different can of worms and I ain't opening that). If Thornclaw wants her to suffer so badly, she'll probably need a reason beyond "jealous". Maybe Rainstar/Miststar/Willowstar gave a bad order that resulted in a lot of damage and possible deaths. Maybe she's had some shaky starts as a leader, and the first few moons weren't great for everyone, which would lead Thornclaw to try and get her out of the running under some notion of "saving the Clan".
