Animal Jam scams we have banned all trades involving Animal Jam.

I wish I could've read this about twenty minutes ago. I'm pretty sure I was just scammed. I got an unfair trade for my Halloween Cat. They didn't have anything I wanted in their open groups, so I asked if they would be willing to trade something from a locked group, and they just accepted saying thank you.
When I looked a bit more, I noticed:
a. Do you know how someone will sometimes name a list pet something like, "5th tier September" ? Well, the names of their list pets were way, way off. They had a bottom tier advent named "3rd tier advent" and a mid September named "top tier September". I guess that just made me suspicious
b. (This is a big one) They joined about 20 days ago and already have four or five list pets, and they joined after the 18th re-release.
I sent in a help ticket about this, too. I think they may be a scammer. I tried sending it back to them, but they cancelled saying it was a "mass cancel of all trades". I really think they were just trying to get around it.

Yes I have as well. Many of these account 'quit' after the event. They create a raffle/giveaway, and their 'real' account wins. I think it's gotten worse this year with the fake accounts created. But I'm sure cs is on top of it. ^^

I wouldn't trust any off site on site trading
I would add that to the front. U can't trust online off line trades , right?

Yeah, I wholeheartedly agree with this. I got scammed trying to do a cross trade from animal jam. Luckily, for me, chicken smoothie got my rares back! DON'T CROSS TRADE. Even if it seems legit.

They banned it? It doesn't seem that way. Many people say trade me chicken smoothie stuff for aj stuff or vice versa.

Thank you, Tess! I got scammed on Animal Jam before, and it was NOT fun. Now the people who havent got scammed wont need to know what its like to be scammed if they are careful, and people who were scammed before will probably be more at ease!
