Name: Eagleclaw
Gender: tom
Clan: Lightning clan
Rank: deputy (soon to be leader)
Personality/Skills:Strong, aggressive, ambitious, Hot-headed and a spitfire. He will jump into battle without question. Prefers claws over words. Very comical however, and immature at times, but will die for his clan. Enjoys fierce battle training and organizing patrols
Important Notes: has always felt a hunger and need for power ever since his father died right in front of him. Eagleclaw watched the life drain from his eyes, and was left with only these final words to guide him, " be strong my son, now it is your turn to succeed where i have failed, to finish what i have started, it is you how must lead this clan no matter the consequences of others for the greater good... make me proud...i...i love you...-" and then died in Eagleclaw's arms(or paws) because of this, he has always wanted more and more power for his father's sake
Name Rating: 8/10
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: Shockingly enough, Eagle- is indeed on the traditional list. I'm quite surprised. The only problem is that it's for a straight-up brown cat, not a dark brown tabby. Other than that, I don't see a single issue with his name. He's clearly a fighter, and hey, that's definitely worth the -claw.
Alternative Name: Cedarclaw/Alderclaw. Both are more inclined to a dark brown tabby.
Character Rating: 7/10
Character Reasoning: While a strong desire to succeed his father and carry on his name is admirable, I really have to ask how the rut someone like him got into deputy-hood. I would understand if his father had been the one to appoint him, but if there was a deputy before him, would that deputy really care so much about what a dead cat thinks over what's good for the living? Especially about someone who's ideal solution to everything is to fight it out, and who's only seeking power for his dead father.
On the topic of power-seeking, I doubt that any cat would suddenly think "oh, well, my father wants me to carry on his name, even though I am nowhere near close to an ideal leader. I NEED ALL THE POWER!!!". If anything, I'd say there was already some kind of desire there, or maybe he's just faking it because he wants to please his passed parent (someone ought to put a sticker on his forehead that says "daddy issues" in big bright letters because
hoo boy).
