how do you feel on when the color in pictures don't mach the forms colors?
oh dang. this really bothers me when they don't match. my ocd comes out and rears its' ugly head. they have to match, or i won't post it. or if i do, i can never look at it again xD

    ----

i'm in serious need of roleplaying. either onexone (which would be better honestly. plus, i have ideas -insert evil laugh-) or an animal, human, fantasy whatever is open and is at least semi-literate. seriously guys. i ain't even kidding. i'll roleplay anything at this point lol. except fandom. i can't do fandom. that's a no no for me cx

Do you ever get emotionally attached to your characters?

I have no idea how to answer this question. I am definitely in two minds about it.

Mind one - manipulating psychopath: No. Of course not, they're just ideas, not real people. They are tools to tell the story, and it's the story that matters, so why should I bother about them, like real people? Sometimes they have to be hurt and sometimes they have to die, and I will not hesitate if that's what the story needs.

Mind two - emotional sweetie: Yes, of course! I love all of them. If a story or roleplay doesn't work out, I always rescue them for later, in the hopes they can appear in some other work because it would be tragic if their voice wasn't heard. They are all so special and amazing, and I wish I could give every one of them, even the villains, happy endings! And when I can't I just cry. Ohhhh I hate being mean to my characters, it's like being mean to a friend. *sobs*
INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.

Do you ever get emotionally attached to your characters?
    Mmm, yes and no.

    On one hand, yes.
I love all of my characters because I have created them.
Perhaps I feel such a strong attachment to them because
I cannot reproduce, yet I am able to give life to another
    being, though it is fictional.
I have multiple characters, yet I tend to reuse the same..
Oh, ten or so. Perhaps fifteen. I also believe this it because
I put pieces of myself into each character; one character
is a lesbian, okay, well that's me. One's genderfluid, again
me. One gets abused, another was addicted to self harm,
another still is homeless as I once was, and so on and so
forth. Each character has bit of me inside of them, be they
    good or bad.

    On the other hand, no.
    Sort of not.
I have no problem with causing my characters extreme
emotional or physical pain, as anyone who has role-played
with me knows. Each of my characters have both light
and darkness inside, and sometimes that darkness needs
to overwhelm them. Sometimes I find ways to torture my
characters, just because I can. Well, it moves the plot
along as well, but really; it's so fun, I would do it even if
it didn't. Of course, that may relate back to the characters
being partially made up of myself, but I'm not in the mood
to look for the slightly pathetic metaphor I'm sure is there. ^^"

Do you ever get emotionally attached to your characters?

i try to limit myself and not get attached to characters. it seems for me it's impossible not to feel some sort of connection. half of my characters i post i don't even roleplay with. once you go and find pictures, write down your form, make a form and fix it you have spent for me a hour of work so it's hard not to be a little attached. also when you roleplay for me it's not like you just roleplay them, i turn into them i think what would i have done if i was them with the same mindset and personality. how close i am to them depends if it's easy for me to write for them or not. for my character fallon i would love to roleplay with her everywhere. with bumble bee my odd, shy and crazy character i find it easy to understand her. for me it's hard not to get a little close with my characters. so to conclude this longer post i do admit if i saw anyone using my characters i would be annoyed and angry. i care about what happens to them, i feel as though they are close to me. i love every single one of them for their own reasons. why i feel this way, i'd like to believe that it's just me and because i usually do get attached to someone very easy. there is also the added part that i put a lot of work into each character and their forms so then it becomes easier for me to become close with them. to add one more part to my post i think that when you write down a person and their life story and basically make them from your creativity it's hard not to be close or attached to them.

Do you ever get emotionally attached to your characters?
      nope, not really.
with the exception of a couple in the past, of course...
i just haven't found that deep connection with one of my characters.
not that i don't love my creations to death.

      is this a bad thing?
cause i feel like i'm a robot or something. xD

Do you ever get emotionally attached to your characters?
i know i'll probably be the only one here, but i actually strongly dislike most of my characters.
no, i take that back. i all-out hate most of my characters.
it's because when i'm making a character, i'm really paranoid about them being a mary-sue, so i make them totally unlikable to me, if that makes sense. but in the end i just kind of hate most of my characters unless i specifically create them so that i actually enjoy being inside their heads. i'm not sure why i dislike them all so much. i've just always liked the way others created their characters, i guess. so i've been emotionally attached to other people's characters - but very few of my own.

do you ever get emotionally attached to your characters?

hmph... that's a good question. i think it's important to have a connection with your characters, but i don't get emotionally attached. in fact, i have some characters with personalities i dislike, but i think it's interesting to put yourself in their shoes and roleplay according to their thoughts. though, i do feel sympathy for my characters and understand what they're going through - even if they're not the most likeable people on the planet.

(i started typing before glassea, so she must've have stolen all my thoughts. :s i guess we think alike! cx)

This is very interesting to me. If you do not
enjoy being in their heads and you dislike
them so thoroughly, how do you play them at
all? I can't quite wrap my mind around that, I
    must admit. xD

I personally like being in the heads of my
characters, especially the ones that are..
Well, psychopaths. They're the ones that
scare me and make me.. Well, they give
me chills and thrills, and I love it. So dirty
    and disturbing, it's amazing. I don't know,
I just find it all very interesting. Then
again, I think they're all real people, just
living in some other universe or realm or
something. xD Whatever, don't judge me!
