Silver Lake Stables- OPEN and Accepting

Kat closed the stall door, once they were both inside. She went to sit down next to the foal.

Kristie didn't mind, just eating some hay then moving to the food, curious of it.

Dahvie slept still, always tired or hungry, she was going to grow to be big, like her mom, and a bit like her father. She was a happy girl.

Kat got up and went to make more of the milk. Coming back she sat down beside the foal, gently rubbing her to wake her up. "Breakfeast time." She said.

Dahvie awoke, but really wasn;t hungry for once, her stomach was hurting. She stayed laying down, looking at the human tiredly.

"Oh dear, please dont tell me you're colicing." Kat said, laying her head on her stomach, she listened. Stomach sounds light. She hurridly stood, getting a syringe from the first aid and a strawberry gatorade. She went back, filling the syringe up, she held the foals head up. "Dont fight me on this, ok?" She told the foal. She put the syringe to the foals mouth, pushing the side down for it to squirt down he foals throat. Kat gently rubbed her neck for the foal to swallow.

Dahvie didn't like it at all, she fought it and squirmed around, trying to spit out the liquid being shoved in her mouth.

"Hey, hey." She said. "Easy, it'll make you better." She said. Doing it again, she held the foals head up gently. Rubbing her neck as she softly hummed a tune

Dahvie still squirmed, not liking it t all, but some went down and got ot her stomach,.

"Its ok." Kat said, doing it again. She rubbed her neck, placing the syringe on the blanket. She stood, putting her arms under the foals belly, she helped her to stand. "You gotta stand, pretty girl." She said softly.

Dahvie snorted softly, squealing unhappily, laying down unhappily. She tried at least. She wanted to lay down and rest, not understanding what was going on.
