Especially after the first time, how could you let it happen again? Do you have an unaltered male cat in your home or are you letting her roam outside? Either way, it's very irresponsible.Ah, I forgot to say: she went missing three years ago. We got her from a friend who found her as a kitten at, I think, about four or five months, but we weren't completely sure on her age. Back then I literally knew nothing about cats or what age they went into heat, and Smokey was also unaltered. It was an accident and due to when the first litter was born, we had to spend money on them, on school supplies, and then scrape together something for Christmas. We literally had nothing left and before we could save up again she was expecting once more.
Smokey and Missy, when she was with us, are/were outdoor cats. We believe it's more natural for them: they're wild animals at heart and shouldn't be kept indoors all the time. But that's just our opinion, not fact. When the second litter were born, it was in late spring, so we could afford afterwards to get both cats fixed. As far as I know, all four of her kittens have also been spayed/neutered.
We were naive then, we didn't know any better. We learnt from that and all the kittens got very good homes.
Missy broke her tail around a year after - she literally disappeared for a few days, which she did quite often, but when she returned her tail was limp and useless. It healed wonky but the vet said she wouldn't remove it as it wasn't getting in her way and she was cleaning it. She didn't clean the very tip, I did that for her.
I do believe that Bellona, her second daughter (and my favourite: I know, I know, I shouldn't have favourites) has since had her tail removed because she broke it too, but didn't clean it. A same, really, as it was really pretty </3The Lost soul wrote:cute kittens!

As I said, we were naive then: not just me, but also my family. We'd only ever had a male cat before - my dear Olly - so we'd never had to deal with a cat getting pregnant.
We did not know how soon she would come into heat again: I was nothing more than ten, and so I thought that my parents would do that, as children expect.
They were both spayed/neutered not long after, as I already said.

It was a couple of years later we got Smokey, rescuing him as a tiny five day old kitten. Two or three years later we got Missy from a friend who rescued her from a tip. So we literally couldn't research before for those two, but I have no idea what my parents did before we got Olly and Emily.

Science Diet is actually extremely bad for cats and dogs. It's full of grain, by-products, fake meals, flavors. No real meat or anything even close, no vegetables, no fruit.

She was so hungry.
And we were out of cat food....
So I gave her a bunch of cat treats and some wet food while my mom went out to get some more food ;-;
Poor Lapis Baby~
