Eyelets are the oracles of the fantasy animal kingdom. Their large and peculiar eyes can look into the future, as well as generate heat-oriented beams. Though their powers are quite enchanting, the eyelets themselves are clumsy, awkward creatures. They cannot fly with great skill or speed due to the weight of their eye, which is made of material similar to a thick glass. They generally roost in undergrowth, around rocks or caves, as geodes and minerals give them great strength. Eyelets communicate telepathically with other creatures using their eyes, and have very smooth, calm calls.

Their actual mouths are very small, and hidden in between their eyes and their feathered collar. These mouths consists of a tiny, sharp beak that is used to eat small fish. Eyelets can live in almost any environment, as long as there is a food source nearby. The favored food of the eyelets is fish, specifically sardines. Though they do not need to eat much, an eyelet generally will not be able to rest or use their oracle powers when they do not feel confident that there is food nearby. Eyelets are very mental-based creature, and require a peaceful atmosphere to use their powers.

Eyelets are generally very independent, and taking care of them is rather simple. They require space to perform meditation as well as exercise their powers. As long as they have a quiet space to do so, and the guarantee of food, they will be content. Bonds that are formed with eyelets may seem weak and empty, but this creature is surprisingly caring and concerned about those who cares for it.
