When Princess went into heat, we got a doggie swimsuit with a pad for her ttheo wear. Worked fine, though changing the pad was a bit nasty. (So I usually made someone else do it haha. She's my step dads dog, and that is one thing I do not like doing. Or bloody things in general)
Ill post a pic of her in it in a bit. (Shes fixed now, but I got a old one)

Lolita went through a heat before we got her fixed. She wore pink, frilly panties.

Before Dixie was spayed and went through a heat, she wore old pairs of underwear with a pad and a hole cut for her tail.

She was 17lbs at her last vet visit (down from 19!!), but will all this god awful weather I haven't been able to get out and walk her, so instead we play as much as we can and I let her run around in the yard as much as she wants. I will be switching her to a raw diet eventually, possibly in a month or two, which will help with her weight. I have been wanting to get out to the butcher up the street from us, but each time my mom has gone I have been out >_>. I'm starting to think she planed it that way because she thinks a raw dies is "silly".
Fuzzy: Try breaking down the amount of food you feed into smaller, more often meals and increase he walks/runs/dog park time/what ever you do. Ha ha, I know that phrase too well. My sister and her husband feed their cat Science Diet because "the vet said it was the best food for allergies" and "Well *insert their friend's name who does something with pet food* says it is a great food!" But I knew they wouldn't budge on getting a better for for her, so I just dropped it. It is a big step up from Purina...
Killer: What a lovely~ friend 0.o .
I wish I could, but my mom won't let me and won't feeds her that when I'm not home -.- It's just ridiculous that my mom thinks the way my parents fee Misty and Marty is ok.... Luckily Kiba and Wolf are fed right.

I was digging around and finally found one of the pics I took of Dixie's mother, Cassandra.

And a random pic of how she used to sleep :'D

Does anybody know of any ways to teach tricks that are non-touch and object-free? I've been working with my 7-year old dog, Lilly, on new ones lately, but we still run into the same problems she had when we first got her, which is that she isn't fond of forced touch or objects. All of the other tricks I've taught her (sit, stay, come, here, wait) I was able to do with hand signals and a lot of patience.
To give an example, I've tried to teach her 'shake' for years. But every time I pick up her paw to show her how it's done, she shies away or starts whining to signal she's uncomfortable. I've also tried to teach her to jump through hoops or agility, but she immediately presses against me and shivers until I put everything away. It's been like that for years, and it's one of the few things I haven't been able to get her comfortable with.
I'm at a lost here. Any ideas?

Maybe try some tricks like spin, bow, jump, back up, speak, etc.

(I'm on my phone sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes) free shaping is amazing! You wiait for the dog to offer the behaviour you want, click/treat, repeat. If you want to train her to shake, wait for her to lift her paw up, even just an inch, then treat right away. After she lifts her paw consistently you can build up the height she lifts to. You can free shape with anything. I turely love it and so does soph

Research clicker training, its loads of fun. Kikopup has an awesome youtube.
Honey, it's in the stars
And you're my everything from here to Mars
And every word I say I truly mean
Dear darling, I hope I'm being clear
'Cause there's no one like you on earth
That can be my universe

Okay. The reason I was done is because I am not bashing you guys.
I don't care if you want the best.
I don't care if you want all this healthy stuff or whatever.
I'm not trying to change your opinion.
I'm not telling you that you're wrong.
But you keep telling me that I'm wrong and that my dog is going to have health issues when she's older and I'm just saying that really upsets me and it's not really nice.
