She shook her head as tears streamed down her face. "You don't get it do you?" She whispered. "I am my mother.. I saw my father struggling in life and he told me he wanted the pain to stop. I told ma and she beat him. I decided to help him.. I stabbed him.... With these hands... 17 times in the stomach.. He was dying slowly, so I slit his throat. The last thing he told me was, 'This isn't what I meant.' I killed my father, then I beat myself, my mom beat me too..... I am a monster..." She said chocking on the words pouring out of her lips.
I know why
the caged bird sings.
A caged bird stands
on a grave of dreams,
his shadow shouts on
a night mares scream.
We think the caged bird sings,
when indeed, he cries.
The song of a bird,
can never be caged.

She smiled through tears and threw her arms around him. She cried into his shoulder.

She got up and bumped into Weston on the way out. "We have a plan!" She said.
"Good." He responded. "Lets find Max and Andrea, and Dylan and tell them."
