I think it would give some pets some different looks

But could it take off the potion? And plus, I'm pretty sure Nick already has a lot of things to do. But still, it's a nice idea.

Plus I bet that would involve alot of coding for the site

Potions you can give your dog to make them a certain species.
For example:
Like a Vampire Potion that makes the fur more pale, different expressions, fangs, Strength.

But how would that work? Like, you would add the potion to the dog, and it would get the fangs?

Like you can purchase it with C$, then go to a pets page and there is an option like "Add Potion.." then it adds permanent fangs, facial expressions, and strenght>

considering this isnt a battle site, how would you be able to tell it's strength changed???

Not sure exactly how a 'potion' would work on a site like CS...although that does bring up interesting item ideas. Like, an 'expression set', 'teeth set' (varying fang styles etc), 'horn set' (uni horns, ram horns, etc.)...but I'm not sure if a potion thingy would really apply when we have a lot of flexibility anyway with a lot of items n.n;;

To get that to work, Tess and the other artists would have to re-make every dogs expression.

Currently there is a default face, and since the mouth has such a long smile, it is almost impossible to cover it up with an overlaying item.
Meaning, they'd have to go an make the change manually. Now think about how many dogs there are on this site.

The vampire face has that huge stretched snarl because it was made to cover up all expressions, including the default one. Any smaller snarl than that, and it wouldn't cover up the default face. That is also why making expression items wouldn't probably be very successive either, unless they made huge crazy grins etc.

On the subject of 'lenses' for the eyes, which me and a lot of other people have suggested before,
I'd be loving some 'freaky' eyes. I mean, all dogs have pretty eyes, but there are so few that have
full black eyes or evil looking 'eyelids'.

I'd love some demonic or 'blind' leses etc, and a pair of eyelids or two to change the impact of the
happy eyes give a dogs expression - I'm so tired of hoarding coal for this purpose XD

This site relies on image coding, a special process in which codes are applied to a site so that specific images come up. This would change many, many things. It would change the way the pets came up, the way the codings would work, and it would make Tess and Nick, as DiabolicReality said, change the coding format of TONS of dogs. As if their jobs weren't hard enough already... And plus, why would we need "strength?" I don't see it as nessicary, but I guess permanently changed pets would have a higher rarity?? But then again... But maybe there can be a transparent sheet, like the little ghosts we have, to cover the dog and give it a paler appearence. And I wouldn't mind a bottle of vampire blood...

I've wanted contacts before, but someone brought up a great point - the can be used to rip people off. How am I supposed to know a green-eyed nonswirl is worth less/more than a purple-eyes one?? But I guess they would work!

;3 No one would be able to rip off anyone due to contact lenses - when you are editing/recieveing a trade,
items are not visible on the pet~
