I recetly commistioned an artist, they had beautiful art and it was cheap. I commissioned my Woi orgianly and they asked to swap for a horse. I went ok i'll do that because they were good with horses. I picked the 20 point option it came with a background. Well I got it today and it wasnt at all what I thought id be getting. For one it didnt have a background. And for two it look quickly donuappen to you?9. What would you do if this happen to you?9. What would you do if this happen to you?9. Do you have any hunting characters? Specifically animals characters that are used for hunting, such as pig dogs?
Yes, I have just one that I know of, Hunter:

I think he's used for duck hunting, but it's possible he's also used for something else (still trying to figure out what the thing is on the left that looks like an animal in something. X3 )

Do you think these types of characters are offensive/inappropriate?
No. I don't see how they are. Hunting is a way of life, as well as a sport, and Fish&Game hunt animals when their numbers are ridiculously high or if an animal is invasive (I think that's the right term). I honestly don't see how a character being a hunter can be offensive. ^^;

Have you talked to them to see why it doesn't have a background?
Honestly, if it was me, I'd probably just keep it and never ever order their art again. However I'm just so disgustingly non-confrontational like that.
If I were not me:
I'd send them a message explaining that although it was cheap it wasn't what you thought you were getting and ask that they either edit/redo the artwork to meet their original claim or refund you. I do think this is a fair idea. It's all on the wording though.



On other things here:
I never heard of the LLD's until the other day. I really love the designs you all have. Maybe I'll get one someday, but I am one of the people who has none. I find it hard to 'bond' with purchased characters, but every once in a blue moon I'll find one that I LOVE
