"Well, I did hear that they fought on the same side," Astrix replies. "But considering it's Greed, it would probably be a fluctuating friendship, if there is one. So most likely, it's that something worse is coming. And really," she adds, "it just wouldn't be Greed to just come over to someone's house for nothing. There would have to be something in return."

Republic nodded and glanced over her shoulder at where Greed disappeared. She crossed her automail arms and sighed.

Astrix happens to glance at the building. Suddenly she remembers something and curses. "Sorry, gotta go! I have paperwork about an attack the other day! See you later!" she runs inside, cursing under her breath.

[Lance-McClain]

Republic watched her leave before standing and walking to another area of Central.

Greed stretched out on the couch as Kaia walked over to Roys desk, grabbed two stacks and went to the desk she worked at. She set the papers down and got busy working. It wasn't entirely her job to sign his papers but he needed help.

Astrix sighs and plops down at her desk, draping her coat over her seat. Being the Medical Alchemist, she was called upon to do the paperwork for most of the...well...medical stuff. Her pile was bigger than normal, even for now. She eyes it for a moment, then pulls the cap off her pen and begins to work on it.

[Lance-McClain]

Greed rolled off the couch and to his feet, letting an exaggerated sigh out. "Well, I'm gonna go now that you have your assistant." He said with a smirk and walked out. Heading for HQ he really didn't know why he was going there. Maybe it's to wreck havoc. Maybe it's to... His thoughts stopped there when he passed an office with a lonely girl and mountains of paper. Backing up a bit, he smiled and walked in, pulling a chair up next to her, sitting in it backwards and saying nothing.

Astrix looks up when she hears a chair being pulled. She glances over to her side, sees Greed, frowns, and goes back to her paperwork without a word.

[Lance-McClain]

Greed smirks at her frown and gives a mock pout. "Ah, don't give me that. What did I do?" He asked innocently. "Why're you giving me the frown and upset scowl?" He asked, getting curious.

"Maybe because I'm trying to get this done, you're distracting me, and I really don't want you in here," Astrix replies tersely, not looking up from her work.

(It's snowing about an inch a minute outside. xP )

Greed lifted an eyebrow at her, silent for a moment. Suddenly, a loud laugh erupted from his throat. "That's a different response than normal." He said, holding his stomach as his cheek rested on her desk. "So, what kind of work are you doing?" The Sin asked, ignoring her hints at telling him to leave.
