Rex actually learned to deal with other animals (trades information for a profit, finds housing, etc.) but he has no trust or faith in their word, and he's always prepared for treachery or any of the sort.

(Remember when answering this question Jingles instinctively stay away from those outside of their species, with or without a special reason. The opinion differs from one Jingle to the next, some may be more mellow, some more intense, mistrustful, etc. it depends on their personality, how they were raised, etc.)

Gabrielle would keep stuttering like she always does. Probably cower in fear or even run away or just stay there froze to the ground. She would only stay if Rex was beside her the whle time, that way she could hide behind him.

Usagi will probably be really curious about it and try to refrain from bombarding it with questions and looking at it very closely, but in the end just stare for a while then turn and walk away like he was told to do in situations like this.

I would say maybe the Jingles could have been placed in an "underground world" and they are trying to figure out how to get back up to "reality". Scientists are testing their smarts and stuff, and the owners ((us)) could be wondering ways to get our Jingles back without ruining the test...in a way.

Well...usually I am curious and go to investigate. I always keep my proper distance, but I will take anyone as a friend really. I don't have many Jingles or creatures to call friends or even family. Anyone is nice enough for me.
