Am I extremely unobservant, or did these lovelies just aquire white markings? I didn't notice them until just now... XD

Nah, they had white markings ever since they grew. At first, I didn't see them either, but while I was admiring the eyes I noticed. They are quite pretty.

As for her grown littermate, the adult stage reminds me of volcanic ash.

I keep thinking of whipped cream when I see them. Whipped cream and purple icing.

I never saw markings on the white puppy, I just thought itw as a white puppy with creamy shading.

Do any of the artists know how long between stages for the pets they design to grow or are they in suspense like the rest if us? Just wondering

Poor little puppy. It looks like the stained glass piece fell out and he's got a little square hole left there. D: I didn't notice that until you mentioned it.
