Nettelwind snapped back into reality. "Moonsong? " he cried in agony. He could hear her screams. "I'm coming!" he jumped up and ran towards the nursery. He saw her dying and cried. "M-M-Moonsong?" he feel to the ground as he was crying over her body.

Moonsong's tail twitched, and she opened her eyes, "Nettlewind?" The first kit was happily suckling again, but the second was scarcely breathing. "Nettlewind! The kit!"

Nettlewind fiercely licked to the kit to get it to breathe more but it didn't seem to work.

Moonsong had an idea. She covered the kits nose with hers. The kit didn't breathe for awhile, then it began squirming. She moved away as the kit took in gulps of air, it let out a squeak, and began crawling towards her belly. "A tom and a she cat." She purred

Nettlewind sighed with relief. "I-I never felt that scared in my life". Nettlewind felt his heart open up. He let all the anger, crying, happiness, and fright was the worst.

Shadepaw sat there and wrapped her tail around her paws. "What are you going to name them?" She asked.

"We haven't thought about that yet" Nettlewind mewed.

Shadepaw smiled a little."Can I help you name them?" She asked.
