((Okay.
I look all... Nice. Yuck. And this is how I shall be dressed all day tomorrow. Help me! DX And there's NO POCKETS. Where shall I keep my things?!?!?!))

Katie sighed and walked around the camp, bored out of her mind. She didn't know what to do at the moment, and just wanted to talk or hang out with someone. Most of her friends were busy, though. Sighing, the daughter of Poseidon was walking past the cabins when black flames caught her attention. Katie looked over towards Myles, a small smile forming on her face. Maybe she could try to talk to him? Most people never seemed to give him a chance, but she was determined to show him that she could be kind and maybe become his friend. Sure, she hadn't really gotten to know the son of Hades in all her years at Camp Half-Blood, but late was better than never, right? Taking a deep breath, the brunette started walking over towards Myles.

(( oh, gosh... I have a feeling that it'll probably freak me out to see you dressed up... o-o
And sorry if there was any typos in this post, autocorrect on my Kindle fire is horrible.
I didn't have anything to do, so I found my patience and motivation to reply right now, despite not being on a computer. ))

Myles heard footsteps getting louder, coming toward him. He looked up to see Katie approaching. He looked away, not thinking she was coming over to him. Probably just passing by. And even if she was heading for him, he didn't particularly want to talk. Especially not to her. On normal days, she was upbeat and cheery, two things Myles was not and two things that almost always got on his nerves. So, he instead focused on the cuff of his right glove, staring at the white fur and feigning a bored interest.

Katie looked at Myles and gave a small smile and a tiny wave as she approached him. Sure, she knew he was usually in a bad mood, but she would deal with it anyways and try to talk to him. "Hey Myles," the brunette said, walking up to him and stopping in front of him. She also knew that it got on his nerves when people were really upbeat and happy, so she would have to tone that down a bit. "Mind if I sit with you....?" Katie asked.

((Where'd the other two go?))

"Whatever. Go right ahead." Myles didn't even look at the girl. Instead, his eyes were still fixated on his glove. He was still messing with the white fur at the hem as well. "What do you want, exactly? Because I doubt you just sat here for fun. So out with it." He turned his attention to Katie now, looking up from his glove and into her eyes with his narrowed blue ones, a type of no-nonsense, I'll-know-if-you're-lying-or-being-truthful-so-don't-try-anything-funny look.

Katie gave a small smile and nodded in thanks, sitting down next to Myles. "I just wanted someone to talk to or something, that's all...." she said, being completely truthful. Well, in a way. She just wanted to see if she would be able to make friends with him, since she knew hardly anybody ever gave Myles a chance. And it was probably just because he was a son of Hades. So what? Why should that matter? In Katie's mind, it didn't matter.

"So you decided to come to me? Well, it's not like you're one of Athena's. Well, Poseidon's children were never famous for being that bright. Actually, they're renowned for being Seaweed Brains. I'm sure you've heard the term before." Myles looked away from her again, this time his gaze resting on the satyrs and Demigods playing basketball. His eye followed a sneaking tendril that grabbed an Apollo kid's ankle and tripped him as he was about to throw, causing the kid to miss his shot. A few of the satyrs snickered.

[katie;]

"Yes, I did decide to come to you. And I know I'm no child of Athena, but I can be rather intelligent when I want to be. I just lack some common sense, that's all. Ah, yes... seaweed brain. I'm very familiar with that 'nickname.' Why, I'm called a seaweed brain multiple times a day," Katie said. A few times she sounded sarcastic, but her happy mood never faded. Everyone called her a seaweed brain, but she didn't care. After five years of being called one, it didn't bother her anymore that much. It just depends on who says it to her.

[~ mew ~]

"Hmph, sure, whatever you say, angelfish. I know you lack common sense. I've watched you practice before. Regretfully, we've never sparred, but oh well. You're just lucky I'm in a better mood than usual, for some reason," Myles said. He observed the sun, determining about what time it was. Almost noon. A few more minutes until the conch was blown and everyone lined up in the pavilion for lunch.
