Hermione sat down on the ground and sighed. "I know that, but, what if we come back after a month? Or a year?" she asked.

"What are the hunters?" River broke the long silence with her question. "why is everybody scared of them? You are the most fearless creatures I have ever imagined of. These hunters must be bad."

Hermione stood up, frowned and lit up her wand again, her face full of grim determination. "We're not scared of the hunters. They want to attack us and we don't, so we can't use a lot of spells against them. There are more of them, so we shouldn't start a fight. They live here, it's their territory and we respect that, but we can't let them capture or kill us." she explained. "If I have to stay here for a year, I will use the time to wipe out those awful clans." she growled.
