Drake took out an ear bud and looked around, frowning. He thought he heard a voice. He looked up on a balcony where a girl was standing and waving her arms. He stood there like an idiot for a few minutes before giving a small wave.

Luke sighed and followed her to the sink. "No.." he mumbled before putting his hands in the water. It stung. He quickly pulled his hands out, grunting, and held them behind his back again.

I laughed at the boy's wave. "I'm Brooke!" I shouted down to him and smiled brightly. "Wait, I'll come down." I said, feeling stupid. I raced downstairs and out into the pool area, letting the doors slam behind me. "What I was meant to say is, Hi, I'm Brooke." I put out my hand.

Drake smiled slightly and shook her hand. "Im Drake.." he said shyly before pulling his hand away slowly. He felt awkward talking to a random person.

I dropped my hand down carelessly. "So, what you doing down here?" I asked cheerfully and made my way over to a chair. I sat cross legged on it and then looked back up at Drake and smiled.

Drake shrugged and hesitantly sat in a chair next to her. "Swim, I guess." he gestured to the pool and then to his swim shorts.

"Oh." I said, feeling once again dumb and stupid. I then leaned back against the chair and it fell over. I felt my face go red with embarrassment.

I went upstairs and got changed into a bikini so I could go for a swim. I raced down the stairs. "Back." I said happily and climbed down the swimming pool steps and into the pool.
