Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.

Mya was sitting in the basement, since it was quiet down there. She was reading a book. She read a lot since her heart attack since she couldn't do much without her chest hurting or getting winded. She prayed almost every minute that they'd find her an implant because she didn't think she'd make it more than another six or seven years without one.
