Family: Two parents and a twin brother, Jedidiah "Jed" Fox. Jed was born fifteen minutes before Rey. Rey’s brother has severe mental problems, often getting distracted by the slightest of things, and Rey volunteered to take his place in the Games. Rey didn't talk with his parents very much as they were often working. Rey was the one who would take tesserae year after year, and he refused to let his brother take them, even when the family was hungry.

Appearance: Rey keeps his red-brown hair cut short but still messy. His eyes are a green-tinted brown and fairly clear, although that depends on the lighting. His skin is tanned from working in the fields with cows. His body is well muscled from working, but he’s a bit too skinny to pass for a career tribute. He's on the tall end of average at 5'8".

Personality: Rey is quiet and hard working, often doing a job before everyone else has finished arguing over who would do it. He is emotionally stable, and he keeps most of his emotions to himself so that he can act as his brother's rock. He’s protective of those he cares about, but that circle has a hard time expanding. The only people currently in it are his parents and his twin brother Jed, although his parents less so with each passing year. He’s determined to survive the games and make it back to his brother because no one else in his district would care for Jed if Rey was gone. The few things that make him angry are insults to his brother and needless pain. While in the arena, he'll prefer to give the other tributes a quick death.

Skills: very strong, patient, very quiet and can sneak up on others, good awareness of his surroundings, lots of stamina, decent survival skills from spending up to a week at a time outside with the cattle herds, can make his own clothes out of animal skins, very good close-range with a knife, skilled with a lasso

History: Rey grew up as the son of two cattle herders. His family had always been cattle herders for as long as they'd been a part of District Ten. From a young age, he and his twin brother Jedidiah would go and help their parents with the cows. Jed would help care for the baby cows, and Rey would skin the cows that were slaughtered, butchered, and sent to the Capital. The family always managed to save at least one cow hide, which Rey's mother would tan and then cut to use for clothes for Rey and Jed. She taught Rey how to do it as well.
As he got older, Rey was given charge of part of the herd. He would take them to the grazing field, staying out there for days at a time as the herd ate its fill. Whenever he was home, he would help take care of Jed, who still only worked with the baby cows. The sight of blood made Rey's twin upset.
At the Reaping for District Ten, Jed's name got pulled out of the ball. Rey, almost without thinking, volunteered immediately. He didn't want his brother in the arena. He knew his brother wouldn't survive. He, though, he at least had a chance.

Token: An old dark green bandana of his fathers, turned lighter and browner by years of dust and use. It's been passed down in his family to the oldest son for generations. Rey is the first younger son to get it.
