Rako blinked at Ink(Jr or adult? You need to say these things. xD ). "This guy ran into not one, but two snares. I just finished his treatment. He should be sleeping for a little while."

Ink recognised Dark's scent instantly. "Oh, Rako, you've never met him. This is my father, Dark." He smiled and wagged his tail slightly.

Rako stood there, mouth open. "Ohh... That explains why his scent is like yours." He smiled and looked down at his patient, smiling. "He should be alright. I know my stuff." Sorta...

"Dark!" Karrie yelped. She curled up next to him, terrified that she would loose her mate again, so soon from the moment he had returned.

Willow heard the struggles. Picking up Ink Jr., she went to where her family was. "Rako, what happened to my father?" she asked.

Darkjay curled around Shadow's frail shivering body. His whole body mass and silky fur covering the old wolf dog hybrid. Dark's brother. That makes him my uncle, he realised. And Ink my nephew, I think? he began wondering as he waited.

Dark suddenly struggled to breathe and it sounded like he was choking on something when he wasn't. He then stopped breathing altogether, but his heart was still beating faintly...

"Shadow!" Ink ran back through the bushes and followed his uncle's scent. "Shadow, Dark is in trouble!" Then he ran back through the bush again as quickly as he could.

Darkjay's head jerked up. "You won't get there in time!" Darkjay barked to Shadow as his elderly father struggled to his brittle legs. "I'll go ahead," He said calmly, whirling around to Ink and racing past him, following Ink's scent trail/ Finding Dark. Is he choking? He wondered staring down at him with calm blue eyes. his head turned to the side with an idea Its worth a try he thought grabbing his smaller uncle, ripping him away from his mate and then jerked his head to the side, letting go, the fall should knock breath into him, with minimal damage,

Darkjay snarled and picked him up again. Throwing his strong body onto his back legs. The power of a lion showing as he began shaking his head back and fourth. One jerk to the left. One jerk to the right...

Darkjay gave a small snarl, joy filling his eyes as he grew sardisticly crazy. Its working! The thought screamed in his head. falling back on his back, Dark still in his lion like jaws. Darks body landing behind his with a loud thump. Not even giving himself enough time to breath Darkjay's body flung to the side, back on his paws as he lashed Dark to the side, snapping him away like a wip. Then to the other side again. He almost seemed like a tornedo as he whirled around on confident paws. Lashing Dark's body out, smacking breath into him.
