Flame smiled, watching her as she thought. "Good." Another pet to join. She seemed to be less shy than he expected; and that was good enough for him. "Follow. We'll go to the secret hideout and see if Death has any news." He walked off, flicking his fire-like tail and picking up his scythe in his mouth. "Alternatively, we could look for some humans here. If there happens to be one, we'll get rid of them faster, but there's a lower chance of finding one to delete."

Syleus nodded, following flame. "So, Death? Is he like all of us pets?" She asked. She hindered a laugh at how he had the sycthe in his his mouth. She mostly enjoyed picking it with her tails. (The Dress-up is totally saying that's a lie, but who cares :3)

Flame put the scythe on his back so that he could speak. "Yes, in a way, he's just like a regular Sacrificed member. Except he's the leader. You can't see his face, though, he wears a mask and a cloak." How inconvenient it was, that he couldn't hold his scythe in his paws. Too bad dogs didn't have fingers, or whatever it was that humans called those stubs on their hands.

((Looking at the dog lineart makes Flame placing things on his back seem ridiculous, but they walk on four legs, if we all agree on not making this anthro.))

"Okay." Her thoughts wandered somewhere else as they continued on. Glancing once again at her guide who seemed to have 'some' trouble with placement.

(Yeah, but I say that we don't turn this into anthro to just keep with the fandom.... Somewhat.)

They continued on, the scythe still on Flame's back in case the other dog asked more questions. "Oh, and you never told me your name. Mine's Flame." He wagged his tail as he said the last part, showing exactly why he was named that. Yes, the tail was green, but he was part of a litter where every pet had exactly the same colour scheme, and there wasn't much creativity with fire to be held with black and green.

"Mine is Sylveus, but I used to be named the Reaper. So many changes I don't even remember my original name." She sighed softly, "Humans could never make up their choices, they keep you in one place for a long time, putting you in auctions after auctions hoping for the best price. Their greed misleads them, and I was the one who was punished. A name was never a permanent title to me, just a label that was ripped off a written again."

(Sheesh, so true DX. I could never give her a permanent name.)

"Sylveus. Well, I'd say you're sticking with that name. There isn't a human to change your name now, unless you change it yourself." Flame's owner never even bothered to give him a name, to her it was a bother, as there were a hundred pets in her collection. He had named himself. "And indeed, humans are selfish. When people get angry at them over a game, they claim we're 'just pixels', but when it comes to them getting an unfair trade, they rage as if..." He paused, trying to think of something that didn't involve him cursing. "As if their family was killed."

((Pfft, at least you could think of a name at all. Flame was really named in a moment of "Hey, I should join this RP with my pet! But I can't think of a name, so I'm going to win the award of least creative!"))

She gave a small laugh, "I think that was what annoyed me most, they just place us in our collecctions and forget us. Then when that moment that trade comes in they seem to have that hint of memory and begin to rage."

(Well atleast you had a moment of time to think, this kitsune has been with me for 2 years and I haven't named her till the holidays of last years. Have you noticed we're bashing ourselves XD)

"Yep. They treat us as if we don't exist, leaving us in a group full of a thousand pets, and then suddenly a trade comes in and they remember. The only pets they care about are all rare and have lots of value." Flame spat on the ground as he finished talking. His owner once had a pet - ugly, even she agreed on it, but it was rare - and instead of that one pet, Flame got deleted instead. Why him? That pet was a spider, something his owner hated, but NO, don't delete the pet you hate, get rid of the one with a decent design instead!

"You had it off easy, you know the reason for your deletion." Sylveus flame grew darker and darker as her anger spiked. "All I knew was that she was deleting pets to save more trade fodder space!" She growled, "And I being an older pet was more valuable than those in my group. Yet I was gone in a flash..."
