Anthony "Tony" Stark - Iron Man
«☼»
Male - Human
Currently in his closet,
watching Steve
Tony knew that Steve was wondering about him, was trying to figure out what was wrong with him at that moment. He had to admit that he probably deserved it, too. Tony was always being sarcastic, witty, rude, or otherwise "not nice" to the other Avengers, mostly Steve himself. He didn't know why, but there was something about the man that normally just got under his skin. He didn't like being mean, didn't particularly plan on being rude, it just happened that way. He opened his mouth and boom, words tumbled out of it. Words that were usually laced with sarcasm and disrespect. Not this time though; this time, Tony was in too good of a mood to have his hard walls up, the very walls that caused his attitude. He didn't need to protect himself, to keep everyone at a distance when he was feeling this good.

Tony grinned when the Captain said crap, raising a brow at him. "Boy, Captain," he said with a bit of a grin, "You get closer to cursing every time. Better watch out, soon enough you'll be saying sh-" Tony cut himself off, his phone beeping from in his pocket. He sighed and ignored it after seeing it was Happy; the man was still trying to get a hold of him about the meeting, not aware that he had already cleared things up with Pepper. "Uh, anyway," he said, glancing back up at Steve, smiling once again, "Come on." Standing, Stark took a step away from the ledge, not particularly keen on falling to his death at that moment. He was intending to take Steve to his own closet, but paused when the other man began speaking once more.

"Steve, calm down, okay?" he said, waving him off. "You don't have to do it if you don't want to. I get it, you're a soldier, a real manly man," he said, deepening his voice as he said the last words, "Sure, whatever. Just give it a thought, okay?" he said with a simple smile. He was feeling too good to be bothered by anything or anyone. "Anyway, come on. It's going to get cold out here soon," he said, turning around and heading into the house, not looking back to make sure Steve was following him. He was charismatic enough that people always did, and he had quickly grown accustomed to it.

"This way, my good man," he said, leading them to his bedroom. Tony opened the door and walked over to his large closet, walking inside of it as well before turning to Steve. "Welcome to my personal mall. Where I already own everything," he said with a little smirk, opening his arms wide. Admittedly, Tony had way too many clothes. Half of his closet was made up of nice clothing; suits, tux's, and other things he wore to parties and social events. The other half was filled with his favorite type of clothes; tee shirts that had band logos, comfortable tee's, faded jeans, things like that. Tony merely stepped to the side and waited, watching in an off-hand way as Steve was left to choose his clothing.

Thor Odinson - God of Thunder
«☼»
Male - Asgardian
Currently with Loki,
overjoyed at the visit
By Norn, Thor had missed his brother. He had missed the feeling of his brother hugging him, had missed the other man's thin frame crushing against his own, the love and contentment he felt when it happened. It had been far, far too long since they had last seen one another, leaving Thor's throat feeling a little thick as his brother hugged him back even after he himself had released him. As Loki spoke to him, Thor's smile grew, tears threatening to pool into his bright eyes. He quickly closed them, not wanting to cry here in front of his brother, not when they were supposed to be so happy. He hadn't seen him in so long, he wouldn't spoil it with his tears.

"Good, I am glad to hear it," Thor said around the lump in his throat. He paused at Loki's question, looking down for a moment. "I.." He began, pausing again. "I've been well," he said softly. He didn't sound nearly as happy as he had moments before, his words trailing off and leaving an empty silence. His grip faltered for a moment before he hugged Loki back harder than he had the first time, obviously bothered by something. He nestled his face into his brother's long raven-colored hair, breathing in the familiar smell before smiling a little shakily. "I've missed you, brother," he whispered softly, not sure Loki would even hear him.

-----------------------------------------------------Captain America-----------------------------------------------------

"Oh shut up." Steve growled, his cheeks flushing slightly "I'll have you know that I can curse when I want too, I just don't.". The solider grumbled lightly under his breath, giving a little jump at the ring tone. He still wasn't used to all the random noises that came with the future. Raising his eyebrow as Tony ignored the call but chose not to question the other man choice. He took one more glance downwards before he stood to follow Tony, "Thank you." he murmured under his breath before turning and stepping away from the ledge, still holding both the ruined painting and his paint brush. Slowly he followed Tony back absentmindedly up until the point where they entered the building. He didn't' like it in here, it reminded him too much of just how out of place he was. The voice in the wall also gave him the creeps, he had been told that it was an AI. A fake human, as the briefer had explained it and Steve didn't like that thought, the man sounded very human to him and it brought back bad memories.

Brushing off the feeling of discomfort, he quickly followed Tony into the unusually large room. The first thing he couldn't help but notice the size of the bed, which seemed to take up more space than anything else present. The second thing was the oddly order chaos that was the room. Steve turned his attention away from that and back to Tony, whom it seemed had entered into another room. With a bit of caution Captain America entered the room only to find himself in some sort of overgrown clothing store, blinking he took in his surrounds trying to figure out where the heck he was. It took Tony’s comment for the blond to realize that he was in Tony’s closet he looked at the man with something between astonishment and horror before asking in an incredulous tone “This is your closet?”.
He looked around at all the clothing choices and felt himself becoming more and more lost ‘Those jeans look like they’ve been through a shredder!’ was pretty much the only comment he felt safe making at this point. Steve had never really had to worry about clothing, before the serum it didn’t matter what he wore and after some person from P.R. would also tell him how to dress. To stack onto that he didn’t even know how to wear half this stuff, he was having trouble figuring out what was a tie and what was a bondage attachment (You could never tell with Tony). The other half of it look like some sort of warped collision between bright colors and uncomfortable fabrics, and in a few cases leather. The leather was very offsetting to Steve, he was currently trying very hard not to imagine Tony in the leather and he was not succeeding in the slightest. So after having failed at that, he tried to decide whether the image was attractive or just plain funny, he really couldn’t pick, and stifling the laughter was getting harder and harder. In an attempt to choke it down he asked “Do you really wear all of this?”

----------------------------------------------------Loki-----------------------------------------------------
Not having missed how his brother’s voice trailed off and how the happiness seemed to fade from it Loki shifted them so he could peer up at his elder sibling’s face. His own brow furrowed and his eyes hardened with anger at whatever force had upset Thor “I have known you for millenniums, and I can most certainly tell when you are lying as you are rather awful at it. What has transpired that I have missed and will I be needing to fetch my sword?” he questioned, refusing to allow anything that had upset his brother to escape without punishment.

He may be the younger of the two but that made him no less proactive of Thor. Quickly he let a small burst of magic out to scan Thor for any injuries that he might have hidden from Loki’s sight. As it returned to him with no results to be found he racked his mind for anything beyond a battle that might have been the cause of the sadness yet he could find nothing either from what he had been given by the watchers and that of which he had seen himself. As he awaited his sibling’s response he tighten his grip on the long red cape that he had so often mocked Thor for wearing. If one were to tell the truth he had always been fond of the old thing, even if it did make it fair to easy to trip Thor and write it off as an accident, and on times Thor had left it behind when he was off on a long adventure it was an excellent source of comfort. Not that Loki would ever admit to the nights he had spent curled up the darn thing missing and worrying for his brother.

Anthony "Tony" Stark - Iron Man
«☼»
Male - Human
Currently in his closet,
watching Steve
Tony hadn't said anything about Steve's comment on cursing, though he had smirked and chuckled. Yeah, right, he thought, shaking his head a little. He couldn't imagine Steve cursing, no matter the situation. The mere thought of it made him want to laugh aloud. He decided he better not though; he was trying to be nice to the Captain for once, and laughing would probably be taken as laughing at him rather than what it really was. So, Stark stayed silent and waited, watching his friend as they entered his closet, which was admittedly rather large and excessive.

As Steve spoke, Tony couldn't stop himself from laughing aloud. "Yeah, this is my closet," he said with a nod. It was pretty obvious that Steve was surprised, that he didn't know where to start looking, and Tony couldn't help but find it rather adorable. He had thought Steve attractive for some time now, and though they weren't friends and would probably not work out relationship wise, Tony couldn't help but admire the looks of the other man. Shaking the thoughts from his mind, he turned his attention back to what was happening around him, a smirk still toying at his lips.

The Captain spoke again, asking a question that made Tony laugh, though it wasn't really a humored laugh. "Ah, no. I don't. Most of this wasn't chosen by me," he admitted with a frown, sounding a little unhappy about it. "I don't get to choose what I wear to most of the events I have to go to," he said, "Obadiah used to tell me what would be best, and then Pepper started helping. I guess I'm hopeless when it comes to appropriate clothes," he said with a shark's grin. "If it were up to me, I would only wear clothes from here," he said, gesturing to a smaller section of clothing, a section of worn band tee's and jeans, as well as a few suits and jackets. He had a very particular style, and these clothes were a major part of it.

"So, what'll it be?" he asked after a moment of silently cursing himself for thinking of Obi yet again, his eyes returning to those of Steve. "You would probably like something from there," he said, gesturing again to his favorites, "Or there," he said, pointing to a section of nice yet casual button-up shirts. They were the all-American looking ones, ones you would expect to see on some guy standing over a grill, cooking for his family. Stark finished speaking and leaned against the door frame, his arms crossed in front of his chest as he waited, his eyes still watching his ally and possible friend.

Thor Odinson - God of Thunder
«☼»
Male - Asgardian
Currently with Loki,
worried about his brother
Thor realized he had not hidden his feelings well, leaving Loki to easily pick up on them. He sighed inwardly as his brother drew away and looked up at him, Thor's eyes instantly going down to glance at the ground, unable to meet the green orbs of his brother. As Loki spoke, Thor smiled a little sadly, shaking his head. "No brother, nothing has harmed me. I am well," he said, then frowned a little, looking sad. "I have missed you, Loki," he said, his eyes meeting those of his brother now. "I have missed you, mother, Father, our friends, our home- By Norn Loki, I did not think it to be this difficult, having to stay away," he admitted. He instantly felt ashamed of his weakness, his cheeks flaring a deep crimson as he turned his face away once more.

"Forgive me, brother; I taint our meeting with sadness," he said with a chuckle, his eyes slightly teary once more as his voice grew a little thick. Clearing his throat, Thor spoke again, offering yet another grin as he did. "Ah, Loki, you must tell me of your times in Asgard! What has happened since I left?" he asked, moving so that he had one arm around his brother's shoulders as he started to walk, leading them towards the Tower without really thinking about it. "What have I missed? Any grand battles? Have you begun to court anyone?" he asked with a smile that was sly enough to rival that of Loki himself. He laughed though, shaking his head before he paused, turning to face Loki once more.

Thor was suddenly very serious, his eyes the hard ones now as he gazed down at his little brother. "Loki, why have you come? If Asgard is not in danger and everyone is well," he began, trailing off as he thought, "What is it brother? What has happened?" It wasn't as though he was upset about his brother visiting, quite the opposite! He was just one to worry, especially when it came to the safety of his brother. He looked over him then, his eyes scanning over him from head to toe as he looked for injuries or signs of illness. Everything seemed to be in place, everything pretty well the same as when Thor had left. He didn't understand it though; why else had Loki come?

{I’m not sure if Obadiah and Cap ever met so I’m pretending they haven’t}
--------------------------------------------------------------Captain America-------------------------------------------------------------
Obadiah, he had heard that name somewhere before, hadn’t he been Howard’s business partner? He didn’t know Tony was close to the man, Steve had never met him personally but any friend of Howards is a friend of his. He brightened up at the mention and asked “You’ve kept contact will Obadiah? I remember Howard talking about him, how’s he doing?” he was happy to find out that there was at least one person left from his old life and he was almost beaming at the idea. Tony seemed to tense a little at the name, maybe it something to do with his and Pepper’s break-up? Even Steve had heard about that, the media had been almost frothing at the mouth about it, bring that up probably wouldn’t be the best of ideas so he should keep the conversations on the subject of happier times.
Looking at the different shirts Steve reached over and picked out a gray long sleeved shirt, it was a button up and it lack both bright colors and paint staining it which made it pretty much perfect for him. In the army something like changing wasn’t much of a private thing, hence the reason he didn’t think about what he was doing when he reach down and gripped his current shirt and pulled it over his head. Steve carefully folded the shirt so the paint was trapped inside it before putting on the floor and tugging the other shirt on. It was a bit tighter then he would normally wear given that it was bought for Tony but it still fit nicely, he left the top button undone just to be safe. Once he had finished that he bent down and grabbed his shirt off the floor and turned back to Tony.
“I had to assume, I couldn’t bring up the mental picture of you wearing anything like that.” Steve said making a gesture towards the small collection of everything from a leather hat to socks. ‘Who in their right mind would wear leather socks?’ Steve asked himself shaking his head. The first part may have been a little bit of a lie, he could see Tony wearing the leather quite clearly in his mind and for the sake of the fact that was his friend’s son standing before him he was making the best of efforts to convince himself that he was unable to see that image and that it most certainly was nothing even close to attractive. Captain America had never been a good liar, he had really never been good at lying to himself and right now was no exception.
Would dating Howard’s son be an insult to him? Steve had never known about how Howard felt on homosexuality, it wasn’t welcome in the army back then and while he himself had never cared for who someone chose as a partner, so long as they weren’t giving him explicit details without any form of request from him. Given Tony from what Steve had seen so far his guess would be ‘Anything that moves-a-sexual’.

------------------------------------------------------------------Loki------------------------------------------------------------------
Loki listen to his brother before his moved his head so that their eyes would be forced to meet regardless of what Thor thought. When he realized that he and his brother had been caught down by the same sickness, loneliness, he gave his brother a smile. It was not one of his smirks for when someone fell for a trick and it was nothing like his grin of victory after he had trapped someone within bonds of words that they themselves had woven, it was a soft smile that rarely graced his face he used it so few times that it looked odd or out of place to any who had known him for a hundred years or more. “If it makes you feel better you have been missed just as much at home as you missed it. I think I myself may have spent more time watching the glass to keep watch over you then anything else during your absence. There is no shame in missing all you know and have been taught to know.” He reassured his brother, keeping their eyes in contacted. That same smile keeping to his face.
“If that would be a crime I would be just as guilty as you are of it.” He respond and returned the same grin back to Thor before the next question had been asked. For that he gave him a childish glare and pouted at him “Nothing at all beside bridge repairs. It has been the dullest it ever has been and I had to resort to sparing with Lady Sif so I didn’t lose my mind. And I think that you know rather well that I have no intentions of courting anyone in Asgard.” And then with a smile just as sly “How might your lady be? I haven’t seen her in the looking glass as of late.”
Loki was not surprised as his brother next string of questions and now was rather wondering how he was to answer them. For once the Tricksters had run out of tricks and the God of Lies had no lie left to tell. So for once, even if it meant that he was left without a wall to hide behind Loki told the truth “There isn’t anything wrong in Asgard, I just got worried and couldn’t stop myself from coming to make sure you were alright. There has been naught amiss but the bridge and even that has been coming along nicely and I couldn’t stop my mind from straying to you.” This time it was his turn to duck his head an allow his cheeks to color at the confession.

Anthony "Tony" Stark - Iron Man
«☼»
Male - Human
Currently in his closet,
feeling conflicted
Tony realized his mistake too late; Steve knew who Obadiah was, even if they hadn't actually met. Worse still, Steve seemed to have liked the man. Tony looked away as Steve took his shirt off, unable to help but look over the man's body. He was well-muscled and attractive, Tony thought without surprise. He had expected Steve to look good without his clothes, and though the man had only taken his shirt off and Stark had only gotten a quick glimpse, it seemed he had been correct. He tried not to think about that anymore though, and turned his attention back to what Steve had actually asked him.

Tony continued to look away, his happy mood suddenly vanishing when he spoke again. "Actually, he's dead," Tony said simply, his voice quiet but somewhat hard. "He tried to kill me with a suit and Pepper killed him," Tony said, his gaze returning to Steve in time to see the other man looking at him. He said nothing more for a long moment before glancing over at what Cap had been gesturing to, nodding his head. "While I do like leather jackets and the occasional pair of pants, all leather isn't quite my thing," he said with a bit of a smirk, though it hardly reached his eyes.

Once Steve was dressed, Tony turned and began to leave his closet, gesturing over his shoulder for Cap to follow him. "Come on," he said simply, leading them out and towards the kitchen area. They were still alone, as Bruce was in the lab, Thor was gone, and Clint.. Well, Stark had no idea. He vanished a lot. Once they had made it to the kitchen, Stark sat down on a chair, resting his arms on the bar area as he turned to face Steve, gesturing for him to sit. "I was tired of standing," he said simply. Really he was kind of hungry and was thinking about what he wanted to eat, as well as whether he would need to cook something for Steve as well if he made himself some food. Hmm. "So that's what you do when you go off by yourself?" he asked suddenly, "You go paint?"

Thor Odinson - God of Thunder
«☼»
Male - Asgardian
Currently with Loki,
trying to talk him into staying
Thor's eyes were forced to meet those of his brother, and while he felt ashamed at his display of sadness and tears, he was instantly comforted by the familiar face before him. As Loki smiled, Thor couldn't help but beam. His brother did not often smile a smile such as this one, and Thor felt rather blessed to have been granted it. Grinning like a fool once again, Thor took a deep breath and sighed rather contently. It felt good to be in the presence of family, his brother especially. He had missed the other man more deeply than words could explain, and now that he was here, it was like a soothing balm had been placed over the wounds in his heart and soul.

As Loki glared at him, Thor laughed a hearty laugh, listening to what he said and nodding. "I see," he said, still chuckling. "No Asgardian women suit you. What of the women of Midgard?" he asked, raising a brow teasingly. When his brother asked of Jane, Thor looked down and shook his head. "It was not meant to be, brother," he said simply, leaving it at that. He didn't let it get him down, instead returned his attention back to his brother, back to what he had now. As Loki answered his last questions, he was unable to keep the look of surprise from his face.

"You mean you are here because you missed me?" he asked. His voice wasn't mocking or teasing, merely surprised. It was as though the idea hadn't crossed his mind. To Thor, Loki was everything. He was something the thunder god could not live without. Thor had never thought that he might be the same thing for his brother. Thor laughed then, obviously pleased by this answer. He kissed Loki's forehead before turning them once again, making them walk onward.

"Brother, you must stay with me for a while," he said suddenly, his voice almost pleading. He had just gotten here, and the idea of him leaving once more was crushing. "Return with me to the home of my allies," he said, "And we shall feast and be merry." The idea sounded great to him, though he wasn't sure Loki would feel the same way. "Please brother, I wish for you to meet my friends," he said happily, excited by the idea. "There is Stark, a man of iron, and Steve, the Captain of America. Bruce Banner, who turns into a beast called "The Hulk", and Clint, who goes by "Hawkeye". They will be pleased to meet you, and the gathering shall be joyous," he said grandly. He was still grinning, the very idea of showing off his brother making him happy.

Crap, apparently that was really that was a touchy subject as well. Damn, what was he supposed to do now? Guilt was cascading through him as he saw Tony’s happiness vanish without a trance. How could that stupid mission file think that informing him about a break-up was more important than perhaps the fact the guy’s guardian had gone insane and tried to kill him? At least he was now 100% sure that he couldn’t trust any of Shield’s information packets from now on. As unawkwardly as he could he tried to offer some form of comfort “I’m sorry, I can’t imagine why he would do that.” He almost winced at how stupid that had sounded.

At the very least Tony was smirking even if it wasn’t all of him and Steve couldn’t help let lose a small laugh and answer “I honestly didn’t know that leather socks existed before today, so I can’t really see them as anyone’s thing.” They looked quite uncomfortable and it was kind of hard to see anyone being able to walk in them “I don’t know what whoever got them for you was thinking, or where they managed to find them.” He added on after a second.

After having finished his dressing, Steve caught Tony’s gesture and followed him out and away from the clothing room (it was way too big to be a closet in Steve’s mind.) and towards what Steve recalled being the kitchen, personally he thought that it looked far more like some sort of torture chamber with the amount of knifes that seemed to be stored in every open space. That and the amount of machines that were present unnerved him. One glance told him that there wasn’t anyone else present, he was starting to worry about Hawkeye whom he hadn’t seen for days. Putting that aside he watched as Tony took up a seat at the bar area, he however decline the seat to instead move towards the cupboard. “My guess is you haven’t eaten today?” he asked, people often forgot that his senses didn’t stop being overly strong the moment he left the battlefield and he could hear Tony’s stomach rumbling from where he stood. It was also not to well known that he could cook.

At Tony’s next question he gave a small blush and answered “Sometimes, I also like to just go visit places that I had been before and see how they’ve changed.”
Finding a frying pan hung nicely in the cupboard Steve pulled out and spun around to put it on the stove, he then moved to the fridge. He opened it up and inspected what was inside, to his surprise and delight there was an array of normal cooking ingredients and foods ‘Pepper's work.’ He guessed in his head. Steve took in the options before picking out four eggs, some spinach and three apple sausages. The eggs were cracked with great care into a small bowl and whisked together, after that the spinach was torn and that too was mixed in. Finally the blond diced the sausages and dropped them into the concoction then brought it to the frying pan to cook.

Loki stuck his tongue out in mock disgust at the thought of Midgardian women (If truth be told he would prefer no women at all, not that Thor needed to know that.) “You know very well my feeling on the women of this realm.” His playfulness fell away at Thor’s reaction to the mention of Jane. Choosing to allow his brother to be left alone on the topic of the Midgardian female, he instead gave his brother a quick tight hug and a light squeeze on his shoulder to inform him without words that he was still here for him.

Loki gave Thor a nod rather than answer him, his eyes were still shyly fixed on the ground. By the Norns he had missed his better half, it was no fun to cause mischief around the palace without Thor there to either tell him off or laugh along with him. Also without Thor there too mess something up for Loki to fix there really wasn’t much else to do, all was well and peaceful. The little voice in the back of his head tried to remind him of the feeling of doom that he should still be worried about but he shoved it to the back of his mind, he refused to ruin his meeting with his brother over a silly little things like that. When Thor kissed his forehead he made a face at him and gave it a rub out of habit, it was then he realized he was acting childish but also then he realized that he didn’t mind that he was doing so. Loki allowed himself to be turned as he continued to walk with his elder sibling.
The pleading tone in Thor’s voice had Loki rolling his eyes but before he could agree to stay Thor had gone off on a tangent. Letting his brother finish his description of them before he spoke he replied “I would be happy to stay within this realm, it would be a week or more before I could return home anyways. My magic is not strong enough to make the trip any sooner than that. As for your friends I have seen three of them from their time shared with you on the viewer, if I recall correctly they were Banner, The good captain and that Stark fellow (He was one to keep note of.).”

It was just then Loki remembered the fact that he was still in his Asgardian garb, which when compared to the usual taste of Midgardians stood out by quite the large factor. “I should also change by clothing, I doubt that my armor would be needed right now.” He said before pulling a few paces away from Thor and activating his magic. The green glow traveled from his feet upwards and replaced his normal wear with the normally clothing of the people of this realm. The new outfit consisted of sneakers, a pair of black jeans that fit nicely without being skin tight (He was only willing to go so far to blend in.) and a t-shirt that he had seen the design of on one of Stark’s shirts. Loki didn’t really know what AC/DC was but he assume it was some sort of religious figure.

Anthony "Tony" Stark - Iron Man
«☼»
Male - Human
Currently in the kitchen,
hungry and kind of amused
As Tony sat, he thought over what Steve had said to him. Why would Obi have done it? It could have been for the money, for the power, the company. It could have been because Tony was an ass, because he had annoyed the man enough to make him snap. It could have been because he deserved- Tony shook his head, turning his attention to Steve now. The man had spoken to him, and it took Stark a moment before his mind caught up. "Oh, uh, yeah," he said with a bit of a smile. "No, I've been pretty busy all day. I was in the lab with Bruce for.. Well, a lot longer than I thought I was there. Then I had to go meet with Pepper, and I just got back when I found you on the roof," he said, having realized he was kind of rambling.

After Steve answered his last question, Tony's brow went up a little as his lips tilted downwards in a slight frown. "Wait, you go remissness and stuff, all alone?" he asked. He didn't like the idea of it. "Isn't that kind of hard? I mean, doesn't it kind of upset you?" he asked, looking more closely at Steve now. His dark eyes poured over his friend, obviously trying to find something there. He was dissatisfied with what he found, or didn't find, but he said nothing about it, only shaking his head a little. "Look, next time you want to walk down memory lane, why don't I come with you?" he offered. It was spur-of-the-moment, something he may regret later on, but he didn't take the offer back.

Tony suddenly realized what Steve was doing, that the man was cooking for him. Standing abruptly, Stark came around the bar to the stove, gently bumping Steve out of the way. "Hey, you don't have to cook for me okay?" he said, a small grin on his face as he looked up at the other man. They were pretty close yet again, causing Tony to avert his gaze. "Here, I can do it," he said simply, holding his hands out for the mixture and things. He wasn't going to make Steve wait on him like that. He already felt bad enough about how awkward the guy felt in the Tower; there was no way Tony was going to let him become a part of the staff.

Thor laughed aloud, a hearty laugh that came from deep within him when his brother stuck out his tongue. It was such a childish gesture, but one he was quite fond of. His brother often behaved in a way that was more childish while Thor was around, probably because of Thor's own big brother aura. The face his Loki had made cleared Jane from his mind, leaving him to feel happy once again. "Yes, well.. Perhaps we should travel the nine realms," he said playfully, "Then maybe you could find the right woman." The large god of thunder chuckled once more, shaking his head lightly when Loki scrubbed his kiss away; just like old times, he thought happily.

As Loki told him he would stay, Thor felt a large weight being lifted from his shoulders. His brother would be staying with him! Grinning broadly, Thor began speaking once again, even as his brother pulled away to change his clothes. "I believe they will be very happy to see you," Thor said. "I have often spoken fondly of you, and they have always listened to my stories," he admitted, hoping Loki would be alright with the fact that Thor had talked about him so much. "You will like them, some of them, very much. Friend Stark is much like you," he admitted, shrugging lightly. "He is quick with his tongue, witty, and enjoys 'teasing' people, as he says."

As Loki changed clothes, Thor couldn't help but be a little surprised. "Your shirt," he said, gesturing towards the AC/DC shirt Loki was currently wearing, "It is much like one of Tony's." He wondered for a moment why his brother would choose a shirt like that, but he didn't ask. "Ah, you fit in very well, brother!" he said, pleased with what he saw. "Come, let us return to the Tower. My friends will be there, where you can meet them," he said, holding his arm out once again. He wanted to keep walking in the half-embrace they had been. It felt good, having his brother close to his chest again, knowing he was safe.

"So it was busy day, you still should try to remember to eat.” Steve nagged, trying to take Tony’s mind off the past conversation. He was still hitting himself upside the head for that one. A bit of worry attacked him as he saw a guilt flash through Tony’s face. That was a look that he had seen far too many times before on he faces of his fellow soldiers, normally after a particularly bad mission where innocents had died. It didn’t take much beyond that to guess what had been running through Tony’s brain about that topic. “Well whatever reason he had for doing it wasn’t your fault.” Steve assured Tony in that same voice that he would use to tell cadets that they weren’t bloodthirsty killers when they were sobbing their eyes out. It wasn’t something he was fond of and not something he wanted Tony to go anywhere near.
Steve smiled at the other man currently seated at the bar before replying in a tone that was slightly forced, not obviously though he knew how to put on a pretty face “It isn’t that bad, I’m mostly just interested in how things have changed over time. From what I can see there’s been a lot of improvement around here. I must say I thought they’d have fixed that broken street lamp on 221st by now though. There are a few things I wish I could bring back but there isn’t much point in worrying over them.”. Choosing to ignore Tony’s inspection of him, he just kept smiling until Tony’s offer which through him off a little his answer took a moment longer than he wished it had “I’ll be fine on my own, you seemed to have plenty on your plate already.”

Not one to be interrupted once he had begun a task Steve slide around Tony to the stove glancing back over his shoulder to inform him “I prefer to cook anything I eat. Not that I think you’d ever try anything, mostly just force of habit. Besides I really don’t mind cooking.”. And with that he lit up the stove {Mostly by guessing how}, placed the mixture down beside a stick of butter that someone had kindly left out and reached around Tony to get to a drawer on the other side of him. Carefully and without blushing he managed to retrieve a spatula, he then withdrew his hand and still without blushing managed to check the pan.
Using the spatula he cut the butter and spread it around in the pan, he always got the happiest feeling out of the sound of sizzling butter, he never knew why but he did. Steve then picked the bowl filled up with the scrambled egg and once the pan was ready he poured it in and began chopping/stirring it with his right hand. His left was being used to hold the pan’s handle.

Loki smiled at Thor and pulled a small tie from his jean’s pocket, with great care he pulled his well-kept hair back and wrapped the tie around it so that it would hold up in a pony-tail. “Yes, I do believe meeting them will be quite interesting in deed. And I hope those story’s including both sides of it, because last time I checked, you and I recall a large amount of our tales seemed to be told differently by the two of us.” He teased lightly, Thor often seemed to have a foggy memory when it came to some of Loki’s favorite tales of his folly. To Thor second question he thought for a moment before choosing to respond with “Yes, I have seen him a few times through the Looking glass and I do see the resemblance. I do hope that he hasn’t been my replacement during your stay here.” And he was hot, but that was more of something to say within his own mind. Not aloud where Thor could hear it and might react like he had the last time a male had expressed in interest in Loki. That had not ended well at all and he had need to heal quite a few broken bones before it was over. Plus one shatter heart from his would have been suitor.

“I saw the design on one of Stark's shirts, mimicking it seemed like a good idea.” Loki answered. The two had known each other long enough that the unspoken questions could easily be heard by one or the other. Sometime Loki wondered if they still needed to use words at all or they did for others connivance. A half smile formed on his face and he took the proffered arm and gripped it closely to himself, one of the main reasons he felt no need for his armor was how safe he felt when his elder brother was there. The warmth and strength had always been a comfort to Loki, even when the two had been in the depths of the ice realm with such little chance to ever see their homelands again he had felt no fear when Thor had wrapped him tightly in his arms and promised that everything would be alright.

It was only thinking back to how they had managed to get in that spot of trouble in the first place that Loki recalled his brother’s sense of direction. “Do you have any idea of the way to the tower?” Loki enquired with a bit of a light teasing tone to his voice as he added seconds later “I would rather we not have a repeat of the Jotun incident, I’m not sure I could survive that a second time.”

Thor Odinson - God of Thunder
«☼»
Male - Asgardian
Currently with Tony,
flying back to get Loki
Thor watched in silence as his brother put his hair up. Did Loki often wear his hair up now, or was it merely because he was on Midgard? Thor himself never put his hair up, preferring to keep it hanging down as he had done in Asgard. Though he was suddenly struck by how little he knew of his brother's life now, Thor did not mention it. Instead, he kept his mind on their current conversation, frowning at Loki's words. "Brother, he has not replaced you," he said gently, his voice soft. "None could replace you," he assured his brother, hugging him tightly with one arm, once again leaning in to place a kiss atop his baby brother's head. He knew that Loki would not have normally said such a thing, which made Thor's heart ache all the more. The thought must have crossed his brother's mind before now as well.

As they transitioned into speaking of the shirt's emblem once more, Thor nodded thoughtfully. He had not realized just how much the looking glass allowed others to see, and was rather surprised to hear such news of Stark. "Mmm," Thor said, nodding. "It seems that Stark is quite fond of the "AC/DC". I am sure he will enjoy that you are sporting its mark," he said thoughtfully. The idea of Tony liking his little brother never crossed his mind, as it was not something he had ever thought may happen. These thoughts drifted away as Loki grasped his arm, squeezing it close to himself. Thor smiled, glancing down at his brother before they started walking again, Thor not really paying much attention.

Loki's words once again drew him from his mind, causing him to stop short and glance around them. "Admittedly I do not know from the ground," Thor said, frowning a little as he thought it over. "I cannot carry you with me," he said, thinking things through before he sighed, shaking his head. "I am very sorry brother, but I will have to retrieve Stark and ask for his help. I do not think I can get us to the Tower from here, and because I cannot carry you and fly.. I will need directions," he finished begrudgingly, obviously not happy about the conclusion. "Do not move from this location," Thor said, looking into his brother's eyes as he spoke. "I shall return for you." With that, the god of thunder stepped away from Loki, swung his mighty hammer, and took the the sky.

It was a few moments later that Thor stepped onto an outer balcony of the Tower. Quickly opening the glass door and entering the threshold, Thor looked around before he heard a little noise. Walking quickly, Thor found himself in the kitchen where Tony sat perched atop a counter next to Steve, who seemed to be cooking. "Friends Stark and Steven," he said fondly as he approached, nodding a greeting before he turned his attention to Tony. "Stark, my brother has come from Asgard. He waits in a nearby park, as I cannot fly him here, and.. I could not find my way back from the ground," he admitted after a moment. When no one said anything, he spoke again. "I ask that you return to the park with me so that we may bring my brother to the Tower," Thor ended, offering forth a hopeful smile.

Tony hadn't said anything when Steve had tried to reassure him that Obi's betrayal wasn't his fault. It was probably pretty obvious that he didn't believe the other man for a moment, but rather than saying anything more on the subject, he had let their conversation transition to a new topic. Steve had rejected his offer to go with him to see things from his past, and while he would never admit or show it, it had stung slightly. He was trying to be friendly, to be helpful even; he knew just how bad it could be, facing the past alone. Still, he kept an easy smile on his lips as he shrugged, nodding once. "Yeah, you're right. I've got way too much to do, way too little time to do it," he said simply. He wouldn't be offering things like that anymore, he decided. He'd start thinking before he spoke.

Steve had answered his next set of words as Stark had stood and made his way to the stove. Tony frowned, eyeing Steve's work for a moment before sighing in a resigned fashion. "Yeah, okay," he said with a shrug, a smirk playing across his lips after a moment. "If you want to cook for me, I'm not complaining." With that, the man used his arms to hop up onto the counter by the stove, watching as he sat atop it. He said nothing when Steve reached around him, his eyes locking onto the Captain's for a short moment before the other man looked away to continue cooking. This was weird, Stark decided. Steve was being weird.

Before he could say anything about it, Thor was suddenly walking through the sliding glass door that served as an entrance to the balcony outside. "Oh, hey big guy," Tony said, nodding as he waved a little. Stark fell silent as Thor spoke, nodding a little reluctantly as he sighed, shoving himself off of the counter top. "Yeah yeah, Tony to the rescue," he murmured, casting one final gaze at the cooking food before smirking at Steve, his 'usual self' firmly back in place. "Well, gotta go. See ya around, Cap," he said, offering an off-handed salute as he pressed a button on his wrist cuff. Soon enough, his suit covered him, and he was ready to go. Without really even looking at Thor, Tony walked to the balcony and jumped off, only to be seen flying out towards the park moments later.

Loki

Loki gave a laugh at Thor’s tone of voice before he grinned and returned “I was only jesting Thor, I know that you would never be able to find a replacement for me. I doubt that such a thing could even exist.” Still Loki did not stop him from embracing him and this time he left the kiss where it lay rather than brushing it off as he normally would have. Lightly he returned the hug before pulling back a bit to give his brother another smile.

“I’m sure he will.” Agreed Loki, he did hope that Stark would like him. From what he had seen of the man so far it would be a fair guess that the two of them would get along quite well indeed. Should all go well and Thor not kill Stark first they might even get to go beyond getting along. He could sense his brother’s confusion so he deiced to clarify on the abilities of the Looking Glass “The Looking Glass allows one to see the selected person and for ten feet around them. I also added a spell that prevented viewing when one was in an indecent state of dress.” That was something he had cast right after he had needed Lady Sif to restrain him from killing a guard who had thought it wise to spy upon his brother while he bathed, normally this could be written off as doing his job had it not been for a few certain physical signs that pointed otherwise.

Loki sighed and rolled his eyes affectionately at his brother but said nothing on the matter, unwilling to risk starting a fight after only just having gotten here. Things still had yet to change since they had been little, not that he had expected anything but, out of all the things within the realm of importance to him Thor was one of few things that he could count on to remain the same no matter how the time passed. The only notable changes between his brother as a child and the man he was today, at least to Loki, were his opinion on women and his height. Other that those two thing Thor was much the same as he was a thousand years before. “I don’t have anywhere else to be so you need not worry yourself.” Was Loki’s response to his brother slightly dramatic request for him to stay in his current location. It wasn’t as if there was much that he would need to worry about in this part of the realm anyways. Watching as he brother flew off Loki took some time to take in the area. It would seem that they were on the border of the city and the forest that seemed to be growing within it, there were few people around and if any of them had seen Thor’s flight they seemed to not be bothered by it.

“Aye, you there.” A voice shouted in an angry tone that Loki knew rather well. It was the tone of an offended person who had had a bit too much to drink. While normally not directed at him he had learned the easiest way to deal with them was not to engage in any conflict and merely allow them to yell at you. “Didn’ta hear me, I’ma talkin to ya.” The man, who Loki could now make out to be looking as if he was within his mid-20s was now attempting to cross the street way that stood between the two of them.
Loki disregarded him up until the point where he stormed over and was right in Loki’s face. Taking two steps back Loki politely spoke in a soft tone “If you wouldn’t mind sir I would ask that you kindly step back a few paces.”
“Don’t give me anya that crap you freaking ******!” The man shouted at him, anger pouring from him.
‘What does that word mean? I haven’t heard it before.’Loki racked his mind but was unable to figure out its meaning. So he chose the path of least resistance and simply said “Thank you?” in a hesitate tone.

Steve

‘Nope, nope nopitiy nope nope no.’ Was a fair summary of Steve’s thoughts as some deep dark horrible part of him chose to summon the thought of Tony wearing an apron. Not even one of the aprons that chiefs would wear but rather something pink and frilly like he had seen on those few times he had been dragged off to see some over dramatized play in which the housewife was some little twig who couldn’t do much but scream. Tony was the son of his dead friend. Steve was not even going to go there. Also he most certainly would not want Steve in a romantic way, Tony didn’t seem like the type to be happy with someone for any longer than a month, and Steve wasn’t that sort of guy. Trying to keep his mind on not letting the egg burn he continued to stir the egg.

If he hadn’t been cooking Steve would’ve return the salute out of force of habit. Instead he chose to follow the two of them with eyes to track where they landed. It was a bit of a ways off so he guessed he had about thirty minutes to an hour before they would return, enough time to prepare a meal. Thor had been gone most the day and Tony still had yet to eat. It was only then that he thought of Bruce, was he still down in the laboratory? If Tony had yet to eat, could the same be said of him? Steve gave a little glance to the walls surrounding him before sighing and asking them “JARVIS, I don’t suppose you’re here right now?”.
