xxxxxhow did you start roleplaying/coding
i guess i loved stories so i checked
out that board. Just went up from
there. The amazing coders inspired
me to pretty up the forms, and
boom, i guess i began.
xxxxxxxxdo you think your mood has an
xxxxx effect on your character's personality or
xxxxxwhat you write for that character
oh yes! Whenever im happy i just
feel the need to have happy and chirpy

how did you start roleplaying/coding
Roleplaying... I wrote for years in middle-school and there was this pet site I played a lot on, Ponyisland. Silly site, really, but there was a roleplaying competition of sorts, and I participated, playing one of my characters. I dropped it for a year or so, writing my own stuff, and then I discovered roleplaying in my online high-school, and started collaborative works. And then CS, a little while later.
do you think your mood has an effect on your character's personality or what you write for that character
I try not to allow what I'm feeling to affect my characters? But it does anyway. So yes. I try to mitigate that with listening to music that has the right mood for the post, so I can get in the right mood for writing it.
INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.

how did you start roleplaying/coding
My story is really simple and boring. I can't even remember how I found this site, but for the first six months, it was all about the pets. I can't remember when or how, but I just came across the role play forum one day and was like wuuuuuuuut, people write stories and stuff? Like, about stuff I like? That's so cool! So mainly it was suuuper illiterate warrior and horse and rider role plays and what not. As for coding, I only started putting effort into that not even a year ago, which is why i'm still kind of a noob at it. So about two and a half years of writing.. Yay!
do you think your mood has an effect on your character's personality or what you write for that character
Actually, not really. I keep my internal feelings.. Internal. If i'm roleplaying, i'm basically acting through a fictional person, so i'm not going to put my pissed off mood into some super happy character.

so i haven't done one of these in a while and decided it was high time i let the people i stalk know just how awesome they are. please note that this is not everyone i stalk, i repeat NOT; it's just the people whose posts i check every time i'm online. cx if you're not on here that doesn't mean i love you any less. it probably just means you post too often for me to keep up with, or the opposite; you haven't posted in a while c:
- carrie dee. ; ah, diem. who needs a reason to stalk diem? i first started being the ultimate creeper a long, long time ago. i was barely semi-literate and had just gotten into the semi-lit club. then, while browsing the forums, i laid eyes on a beautifully coded roleplay called "and so the story begins". i'd honestly never seen coding like that before. all i'd ever used was the truly basic stuff for forms and post formats. but that thread, which was a collaboration between aurie and carrie dee, became to me an unattainable goal. i fell in love with her unique coding style as well as her ability to take something everyone thought they knew and change it just a little to make it all her own. i still admire her and stalk her like there's no tomorrow. frankly, i'm surprised she even talks to me! but she does and diem, you are a truly wonderful person to talk to.
abandoned. ; we hit it off in the semi-lit club, i think, but i was under a different username then. it took me a while to really start talking to you - honestly, i think i didn't work up the courage until phen introduced me - but then i realized just how much i'd been missing out. even though you think your coding could use some work your writing makes up for it by far. i especially love your plot ideas. even if it's just a simple premise, you can take it and whip it up into something truly magnificent. that takes a lot of unique talent. you're an incredibly friendly person who's perhaps one of the most welcoming on the whole site. whenever someone joins a thread, you're always there introducing yourself and helping to make them comfortable. i know everyone really appreciates it, so keep on doing it!
aurie ; revvieeeee. so you can go poke around diem's little paragraph thing for how i first started stalking you, and i'm way too lazy to type it out again. first off, i'd like to just tell everyone to step back and admire your coding. it's always new, which is quite a feat considering the growing number of coders on the site. then there are your roleplays. i know you sometimes get help with the plot details but even the basic idea is something compelling but totally new. you put a little bit of yourself into every roleplay you make and it shows in your writing. your prose lets the emotions of your characters through, speaking to a reader as they themselves would. sometimes it's actually hard to tell that you're writing as someone else. that's how natural your writing comes across. even besides your many skills, you are a great person to talk to and be around. you ship jelsa, which automatically makes you amazing, and fangirl with me about frozen. but you're not just someone who agrees and that's it. no, you have an opinion and you're brave enough to share it. that's something i really admire about you. overall, you're just really cool for a freshie lol.
Beatus ; hi, beatus! we haven't talked much besides asking each other cheesy icebreaker questions but honestly you can't go wrong with those. i haven't read much of your writing, seen many of your roleplays, or looked at a whole ton of your coding [even though i have both your character threads bookmarked], so i can't really say much about those. what i can say is that you're someone who's really charismatic and friendly. you popped right into this thread and it got a lot brighter and more active. before recently, the thread was kind of dead, but i'm sure its revival had something to do with you. it's a lot easier for people to speak up when someone is listening and you took that initiative. you're easy to talk to and you keep a conversation going. honestly, the thread would probably be dead again had you not come along and breathed life back into it with your cheerfulness. i feel like you're someone i can count on, and i'd like to get to know you more.
Brittle ; omgbritbbyhai. girl, where do i even begin with you? it's hard because you're just too amazing to be summed up in a sensical paragraph. if i tried to list all your amazingness we'd be here a while so i'll just start with your roleplaying. first off, you're the kind of person who's great at moving a roleplay along and keeping up the action. that might seem easy but for most of us i think we find it hard because we don't want to powerplay or anything like that. you don't powerplay, but you do push your characters into situations that will ultimately benefit the whole roleplay. i don't know if you realize this but that takes a lot of guts as a writer. i greatly admire that about you. you're patient and really, really friendly. a lot of people find you easy to talk to and an excellent confidant. you're not shy in letting yourself be heard and standing up for yourself and what you believe is right, even if that's just through your characters.
deer, ; deer, you're the one who goes around and leaves gorgeous comments on everyone's word walls. cx kidding! even though you do do that you're a whole lot more than just your friendliness. i'm truly jealous of your coding. i swear, you must've looked through every font on the veer website, because you've found symbols to use in your coding that i can only be jealous of. and the way you use veer fonts in your coding is new and unconventional. there's a traditional style of "pretty" coding, and then there's deer's coding, which is on a level all its own. your combinations of text symbols and veer fonts are something new to this website and i think everyone's in awe at your creativity. you should keep coding, and we should totally message more, because you're super-duper nice. c:
katniss, ; yo, i'm still stalking evi's diary. cx i've told you what i really, really love about your writing but i'm going to do it again. honestly, i feel like you understand your characters. evangeline is not your typical run-of-the-mill narrator. she is a bloodthirsty maniac who knows exactly how monstrous she is. it would be so easy to mess that up and let it devolve into the ramblings of a mad girl. instead, you keep her human; not enough so that we totally understand her [because there will always be a part of her that no one understands] but enough so that we get a taste of what it's like to see through her eyes. it's a gift that few have and you use it so adroitly in your writing. and that's just one character! i can hardly imagine what your other characters sound like because the way you speak for them is both unexpected but familiar. you've got a talent for humanizing your characters and connecting them to the reader. keep on doing it.
perdu ; let's just go skip off into the sunset to watch teen wolf and fangirl over frozen, okay? besides your amazing taste in entertainment, you are an amazing writer. i remember that onexone we had - the werewolf one, wasn't it? - and i was simply in awe of the effortless way your wrote your character. her thoughts made sense to me, the reader, which is no small feat. anyone who's ever roleplayed with you has probably been jealous of the decisive style with which you write. there's no fluff in your posts; you cut straight to the chase in giving us a glimpse inside the mind of your character. but that doesn't mean your posts are lacking in relevant description. on the contrary, your imagery is amazing. you give just enough information to give the reader a general idea and then you let imagination do the rest.
Rose ; i ship us. need i say more? yes, yes; i must say more because your awesomeness cannot be left unsung. if i had to choose one thing to totally steal from you it would be your writing because it is amazing and everyone is jealous. i was reading an article the other day about how humans are scared to use words in different ways. instead, we stick to well-known phrases for fear of messing up. you have no such qualms, and for good reason. your writing is both unconventional and poetic. it's hard to describe just how your writing is but it's something like the environment around your character obviously affecting your word choice. that's the best i can describe it. your diction varies depending on the character's emotions and location, providing for a realistic-seeming dialogue that at the same time is just abnormal enough to keep us reading. you get us attached to your characters. they're jut portrayed really well and asdfghjkl. GO AWAY YOU'RE TOO PERFECT FOR THE REST OF US.
sunny, ; besides your amazing taste in music, you're an amazing coder. i know you think you've got a ways to go but honestly, you can code with the best of them. your coding looks deceptively simple. anyone who's tried to emulate your style of coding knows that what you make look so effortless isn't as easy as it seems. i especially love your use of brackets and partitioning. the way your forms are divided draws the eye and gives us your character's basics in just a glance. but wait, there's more! even though your characters' forms highlight the simple things if you read between the lines it reveals the depth of your characters. someone who seems to be a typical character really has an interesting backstory, or a conflicting personality that makes it easy for us to understand them and justify their actions.
thorne. ; thorne - you're easily one of the nicest and most talented people i've ever had the pleasure to speak to. your coding is truly amazing and i envy your creativity. what i really love about you is how you have the ability to see the best in everyone and always look on the bright side. i swear, you could find a way to make us sympathize with voldemort and wholeheartedly devote ourselves to his cause. your insights make you wise beyond your years. another thing that's above and beyond is your writing. like seriously you just need to stop because you make some of us look like illiterate apes scribbling on a blackboard. to put it simply, you, thorne, are incandescent.
woodland ; when i think of you my mind goes straight to plots. plots plots plots plots plots. you make the best roleplays, and even if i'm really busy my longing to join your roleplays overcomes all common sense. i know you're in school a lot, working hard, because you're really smart and successful. yet you still have time to come on here and dazzle us with your unique characters and situations. i don't know how you churn out such undiluted genius but it's definitely noticeable in your writing. the situations you bring up are new and unexpected, throwing off the burden of sticking to what we think we know and opening up the door to doing whatever the heck we want with our writing. thank you for that.
...dangit that took a heckuva long time to write
