Wait.. just a suggestion, but would it be easier if one person collected each pet? So like pets of the same kind went to one person so it would be easier to delete?

The original plan was that everyone collects the same pet, and then everyone deletes the dogs they have collected. That way each person does not need to do as much work, since you have to delete each dog individually.
