Ellie plucked the bird and started cooking it. There wasn't much meat on the bird but it was okay for her at the moment. She letting the bird roast over the fire and heat she looked at Adrian, then walked out. She headed towards the other end and just killed more and more vampires. Head shot or right in the heart, no hesitation.

"Feisty today, aren't we?" Adrian called after her without looking up as he continued about his organization. "What has the fire up in your gut this afternoon?"

Ellie was long gone. His words like a grain of sand, meaningless. She was pinned and out matched. Simply she got a bullet into his chest.

Adrian merely continued to work. He would intervene if she became outmatched, but she could clearly handle herself for the time being. And clearly had an issue or two to work out on her own besides.

Ellie walked deeper and farther away. She was a good half mile away when she was attacked. Her wrist grabbed and pinned behind her. Taking her a swing she barely twisted out. Whimpering when he kissed her neck about to bite. She kicked him in the groin. He whimpered. She elbowed him harder in the ribs. She got her guns tossed a side.o
Only her knife. Ellie had a bleeding temple.

Smelling the blood on the breeze, Adrian frowned, furrowing his brow and rising to his feet before taking off in a run through the forest after the scent.

Ellie cried out at the bite but got the knife in his neck, dragging it across. The vampire's head went rolling with her bloody nose, temple and wrist.

Adrian reached Ellie just as she dispatched the other vampire. He watched idly for a moment before furrowing his brow again and looking back at Ellie. "Alright. We clearly need to talk. What's all this about?"

Ellie frowned. "I'm fine." She said a little harsh. "You wanted them dead, it shouldn't matter who kills them." She said firmly.

"That's not what I'm talking about," Adrian replied steadily. "Clearly there's something wrong here. The constant running off into the woods to fight vampires, the moody silence, the not eating... you're trying to die, aren't you? Or maybe you're trying to prove something. I'm not sure which it is."
