Ellie sat by the river, debating on jumping in, and not coming back.

Adrian, having been out hunting, returned, bearing a large wild pheasant, hanging it over his shoulder like a catalogue model carrying a sport jacket. He passed by Ellie by the river, cocking an eyebrow at her before thrusting the bird toward her by the legs. "Here. Eat something." he instructed, before turning and making back toward camp.

Riley kissed her softly.

"No thank you." She told Adrian, politely. She was right about one thing, shecould never get what she wanted. Her hand on a scar of her neck. Getting up, she headed deep into the woods where she was surrounded by vampires. "Five against one?" She said. She smirked and flipped killing two. She missed serval blows only getting a few scratches. She killed them all, getting better than before she sighed. Now she needed the knowledge of killing something like Adrian.

Rinda pulled away and leaned her head on his shoulder. she smiled up at him.

"A bit more gratitude would suffice," Adrian called after her, then scoffed and returned to camp, allowing her to throw her fit. She'd come around eventually, after all. And far be it for him to go out of his way to keep his charge in sound emotional condition. He tossed the pheasant over to Ellie's area for whenever she happened to get hungry then went about looking over all the pages he'd filled over the months with writings and songs and sketches.

Ellie looked at her feet seeing something sticking out of the thin layer of snow left. Picking it up, and frowning, she knew automatically it was the a ilell powerful Adrian's. Her thoughts fought back and fourth on what to do. Rip it or give it back or simply leave it there. Picking up several sheets, she collected about fifteen then walked over to home base, setting them on his tree. Picking up a heavy book, she put them on the papers.

Riley smiled and kissed her forehead smiling against it.

Glancing briefly up at her, Adrian cocked an eyebrow, looking between her and the book for a moment before speaking. "Thank you," he replied, reaching over to take it and brush a bit of the snow from it. "I must have dropped it... I wondered."
