Ana kept her eyes on the horizon. Obviously, being so young, she didn't understand the whole being a bad influence thing. And she wasn't about to ask about it, she didn't care. But she did want someone to stay with her, and she secretly hoped Stephanie would stay and talk to her. She said nothing.

She rolled her eyes. "I know you want me to stay. You might not think it, but I've been your age once. I know how you're feeling." She said softly.

[Hickett]

Ana turned back to Stephanie again. "You've had your stupid friends ditch you, and then have no friends?" She asked in disbelief.

Stephanie
She shrugged. "That, and worse. Only they didn't ditch me over a cigar. They were teasing and hurting a kid, and I stood up for him. They wouldn't even look at me after that." She said.

[Hickett]

Ana sighed. "Well they're jerks." She said in reply. She'd seriously heard that kind if story a hundred times from other adults, but she'd never actually experienced it happen. She'd actually started to believe it wasn't true. Nobody's that heartless.

She chuckled softly. "Yeah, I know. You've probably heard that type of story a million times, haven't you?" She asked Ana.

[Hickett]

Ana scoffed. "Yeah, apparently everybody's been through that situation, but I've never seen it happen..." She mumbled.

She huffed quietly. "Well, now you have." She responded.

Skylar smiled and nodded as she entered the room. "Thank you," she said softly as watched him. She turned her attention away from him and her eyes wandered around the room. She wondered what he could want to talk to them about.
