Meaning:
Kayode is an African name that means "he brought joy." This colt is amazing, and he should have a name that is meaningful and has a backstory. I think this seems to just fit him, how is such a handsome horse and he just seems so perfect. Such a gorgeous horse of art deserves a name that suits him to the fullest extent that it needs to. I hope whoever strives enough to get this foal is brought a boatload of joy.

Why Do You Want Him?:
I mean, who wouldn't want him? In basic words, this colt has gravitating handsomeness. You are an amazing artist, Tynahi. I love his vivid design and spot-on colouration. I have always had a thing for roans, so I couldn't resist when I found such a handsome horse and clicked on him. This community is full of wondrous artists, and I love each and every horse that comes out, I just can't adopt them all! But when I find something really special, I know that I just have to enter. This was one of those times. Blue roans are gorgeous, and you have nearly perfectly emulated a real one! I don't even have the right words to describe the total essence of why I love and want the colt!

[Kayode's P.O.V.]
My eyes glitter with the anticipation of what is to come. Although our pace is controlled as we pause at the mouth to the arena, my blood is boiling, heart rapidly beating, wanting to pull on the metallic bit in my mouth and race out. But I wait, because I know better.
A gunshot signals the beginning of the event, and two cattle start to race about in the arena. I feel the sharp kick in my side and shoot forward, eyes a stormy mix of determination and ferocity. The familiar sound of a swing rope whistles above me, and as I whip around to keep the cow just in front of me, a rope is thrown over the cattle's neck and it stops abruptly. My rider leaps of me, ties its feet expertly, and then is back upon me. We begin to gallop again, and he clicks softly with his tongue.
Faster. My hooves are nothing else but a blur, thundering against the ground and echoing around. I am at the height of my speed, barely feeling my feet tapping the ground anymore. I am running so fast, enjoying the wind, when my rider halts me suddenly and leaps off, tying the other cattle's feet. I breath heavily now, and my nostrils flare as we begin to walk from the arena. The cattle are untied and led into an arena, and my rider waves to the screaming crowd. This is my life.

I feel a harsh nudge on my shoulder, and I awake with an annoyed snort. My mother gives me a pointed, angry look, and I lower my head. I was kicking in my sleep again. It was just a dream. It is too hot in the barn, so I stand and slip into the cooler air. I stare at the long stretch of land, and walk forward. I begin to trot then, speeding up on the side of the fence. My small, young legs feel as though they will never run out of energy, which brings me into a gallop. I turn in sharp, short turns and run, run, run! The wind flies through my mane, and I neigh into the air joyously. I am not going as near as fast as I had been in my dream, but it doesn't matter.
I imagine a cattle in front of me, and I kick out briskly, racing towards it. It disappears as soon as I get close, but I continue to chase the wind then. I glimpse my mother at the barn door, watching with a soft gaze. When my legs can run to more, I slow myself and flop into the frosty grass, staring at the sky. I feel my mother's gentle muzzle, nuzzling me protectively. I snort happily, brown eyes looking at a star that burns with a certain brightness. I am Kayode. This is my life.

I don't think of all the misery, but of the beauty that still remains.
