Griffin nodded at her as he took his phone back. He took a quick glance at the saved contact before moving on to his entire list. He decided to text a friend he hadn't seen in a while, Jinx. She had kind of grown on him the last time they hung out. He nearly smiled for the first time when he was near her, but he didn't want to. Griffin feared that when he does smile he'd look dumb. Shaking the thought of a smile he clicked on her name about ready to send her a text. 'Hey, it's Griffin. Short time no talk. What are you doing tomorrow?,' he sent hesitantly not wanting to interfere too much in her life. Griffin looked at the other girl and waved goodbye as he turned around and started to walk away from her.

Summer sighed, "Yeah me too. Hey why don't you give me your number and I'll text you some time. I would really like to help you and your sister come to a road of peace instead of destruction.," she replied to him calmly and honestly. She wanted to help the two of them come back as a family instead of falling apart. Summer knew how hard it was to feel like your family is slowly demolishing because that's what is happening to her and Eve. Except for the fact that they aren't blood related. They were falling apart and everything they tried talking over turned into an argument.

Ace raised his eyebrows at her as he sat down on the bench eating his ice cream. "Your so weird.," he said as he took his finger and slid a little ice cream off of his cone. He turned towards her and literally put the cold ice cream on her cheek. Even though he knew for a fact that it would be melting and probably fall onto her clothes.

Jinx looked at him "Well i mean there's not much to talk about? What do you want to know" she said with a small smile looking towards him. She was curious about him and wanted to know more just as he did. She could normally read people pretty well, he seems very kind. Which she liked, she had someone to spend time with and this was a good thing. Jinx looked at her phone out of habbit and read a message that her friend had sent her. "Hey!! I have nothing planed, why whats up?" she texted then put the phone back in her pocket. While she texted her sleave had fallen some and you could see some of the old scars on her wrist. she didnt notice they were visiable.

Soldier gave her his number then said quietly,"I appreciate the concern but please don't try to meddle with my family affairs." He texted Chance saying that Ace would let her stay with him while he was overseas if she wanted and added Ace's number at the end.

Chance read it curiously then texted Ace," Hi,it's Chance. My bro talked to me about staying with you but why? If I remember correctly,you seemed to dislike me."

Liam looked down and saw her it her phone away. He saw the scars too. "Nothing really special about me. And you can tell me anything. But first I know it's none of my buisness so I understand if you don't want to talk about it, but what's wrong?" he asked and held up her arm revealing the scars. He looked concerned and stopped walking and faced her.

Summer narrowed her eyes then simply nodded, "Your family wasn't the only thing I wanted to wonder about. I also wanted to know what it's like to live the life be in the army. I may want to join. You should let me know when and if any position opens.,' she told him as she stood up. After getting her phone back she walked away making sure his contact was saved. Summer walked all the way back to the hospital in navigated her way up to Zach's room where the baby was. She looked down to see that the car seat was moved into the room too. "I'll take him home when I leave again. Are you coming home tonight or tomorrow night?," she asked of him.

Ace received a text message from an unknown number and wondered who it was until he opened it. It was his friend Chance he had met the other day. 'Oh yeah. I felt bad and didn't want you moving again. I rather you just finish high school here. I have a spare room you can sleep in.. I'll clean it up before you come over.' he sent to her as he looked at Emily. He was worried that if Emily came over and saw Chance that she'd flip on him. Then he thought that he should explain to her before they even got back to his house.

Jinx looked down "My mother died when i was young and my dad was abusive... I also get used and pushed around a lot and im always alone." She said plainly as she pulled her sleeve back down over her hand. She looked at the ground, she started to feel gilty about it. She just told someone she didnt really know about something she tried to hide from everyone.

Chance read his reply and bit her bottom lip lightly as she thought then responded back," Okay. Soldier's leaving for camp in a week or so."

"well your not alone now." he said sincere and looking a her. He kept walking and put her hand back down. "I mean, yo already have your own personal batman. I think that's pretty awesome." he smiled. Liam kept walking. "my parents put me under house arrest and I always had to do work for school etc." he said. It's wasn't like her but he might as well tell someone. And he trusted her.

Jinx smiled when he metioned batman again and giggled a little "Thats right batmans here" she said with a small smile. " Why would your parents do that?" she asked him, looking at him with soft eyes, she never told anything if they didnt want her to. Even if they told people about her, she still never told.
