She was once the mate to a Husky-Black Wolf Mix, but he died years ago. She found another, but he abandoned her after she had his litter. She doesn't want another mate.
Backstory;
Daffy was born in a large litter. She was the largest, and therefore didn't need as much attention as her runt-sized siblings. When she was no more then three months old, bears killed her family. She was left alone to fend for herself in the middle of a large forest. Days went by, then years that she was alone. When she was six years old, she found love with a Husky-Wolf Mix in a Wolf Pack at the edge of some mountains. She had his pups, two little things that she named June and Howl. Her mate, Full Moon, died while protecting her and his pups from a mountain lion. His Pack took him away before she could even say goodbye for the last time.

She raised her pups for a few months, wandering around the edge of the mountain and finding food where they could. One day, she noticed that June had caught a cough. Three days later the pup died while she was away hunting. Crazy with grief, she gave up her remaining pup to a Dog Pack in a valley over the mountains. She regretted this later on, and tried to get him back. But on the way there she was caught by some Humans and taken away to a den made of logs.

Once there, she met her second mate; a Husky named Bruce. Just six months after she had her first litter, she had another. This time, with a new father. Only one pup was born, a little fea that Bruce named Neaveh. To Bruce, Neaveh was the greatest gift in the world. But, sadly, to Daffy she wasn't. Neaveh looked just like her dead pup June, and she couldn't stand to look at her.

When Daffy told her mate about how he felt, he took her and Neaveh out into the woods and abandoned them. He said he would have kept his daughter, but he couldn't give her milk. So Daffy set out again, this time with Neaveh dangling in her jaws. As soon as Neaveh didn't need to be fed milk anymore, Daffy dropped her off in the Nursery at the same Pack she left Howl at.

As she left, she thought she heard Neaveh following her. But she didn't turn around until she had swum across the lake. By that time the only scent around her was of the swampy forest and herself. She spent the next two years in a little den in the side of a mountain, scaring off anything that came near. At one point she actually killed another dog by mistake. After that, she quieted down a little and kept to herself.

I decided on the tan Husky image instead of the gray one- is that ok, CoquetaF? Since Howl's father is gray-black then that takes care of his coloring, if Daffy was tan it would take care of Neaveh's and June's. c:

I whine, putting my head down my eyes closing as I focus in on life, "Alright, Neveah.." I say quietly. I open my deep brown eyes, "I love you too, Neveah. I always will." I tell her, weakly smiling as I cough, ears falling back in pain.

I breathe heavily and lowly. My smile finally returning, "You can tell me anything, Neveah." I remind her with a faint tail wag.

Nevaeh nodded her head a little. "I know. Just..not here...not now." She said, her ears swiveling around to the sounds of the other sick dogs around them.

My ears flick, "I'm pretty strong, I can walk if you wanna talk now." I tell her quietly, smiling. I pull myself to my paws, a bit wobbly at first but I steady myself, I walk over slowly, bowing my head, "Hm?" I ask her, wondering if she wanted to get this out of her system now.

Nevaeh's eyes widened as she watched Koda pull himself up. She looked down at Brid, who was sleeping soundly, and smiled before standing and walking to Koda's side to give him support. "Let's go." She said and nuzzled her head beneath his.

I nod, following after her, putting very little weight on her, sitting down a bit far from the den, "What is it that's bugging you, love? I don't like seeing you to bumed out." I tell her quietly, coughing a bit.

Nevaeh walked with him, relishing in his closeness until they were far enough out of earshot. She sat next to him and then shifted so that she was facing him. "I did something horrible....because of words that were said." She started, digging her claws into the ground. "These words have been spreading around the pack...and I want to know the truth." She said then locked eyes with him. "Koda....do you....still love Icy?" She asked
