"Good point. It was just a little false hope, is all, that civilization as we know it may not have died out completely." She plucked a spatula from a nearby rack and studied it. "Really, the only problem I have with this whole apocalypse thing, besides actually socializing, is knowing that we're left to repopulate. I mean, can you imagine being stuck to repopulate with a bunch of people you hate? Hypothetically speaking, I mean."

Vriska contorted her face in disgust. "That's why we need to find married people. Or people who could actually deal with little small writhing children. I think the only thing worse than hate snubbing people would be to baby sit little grubby kids." The Scorpio banged a pan at an invisible persons head with a chuckle. "So which of these are we gonna grab?"

[Skrooker]

"Maybe if we're lucky, Dolorosa or Porrim are still around. They're good with kids. And I say we just take whatever we can carry, then take another trip back here; there's no telling what we'll need."

[lion's tooth]

"Fine with me. I'm gra88ing those fancy chocol8es that always have the perfect filling for smashing in other peoples f8ces... I alw8ys wanted to try that. 8ut what should we get r8l food wise? I was never r8lly one to shop." Vriska set the pot down and stood back, waiting to see which aisle they'd go to next.

"Whatever you do, don't touch the Lindor truffles! Those things are my life! And we should probably get any fruits or vegetables that haven't rotted away yet. Fresh meat may be hard to come by, though, with the exception of wild animals, of course. Unless you would like to search the continent for a farm with cows, pigs, and chickens that's fairly close to a butcher shop?"

"You know I-" Anna began, her voice raising in anger before she stopped herself, running a hand down her face. Calm down, she told herself, This guy does't know you're actually trying to be nice for once and how rare the occasion is. Just chill. She took a deep breath and tried her best to pass off a friendly smirk, "'Bro' yourself, man. Keep the water on you, though, just in case you wise up later on down the road. If you're gonna travel with me, you need to, you know, be smart. There's a lot of f***ing danger out there, and I can't be held responsible for you." Anna pulled out her own bottle of water and took a swig, and then splashed some on her face for good measure. "Anyway, you see anyone else 'round here?"

"You know we could just rumm8ge through our houses for a weapon with a 8l8de and just go ham on the animals instead of going through all the trou8le. It'd 8e too easy. Then ag8in we'd need someone with a f8ir amount of experience with animal anatomy for wild meat to even 8e within the question. Then again we could just sa8atoge the frozen section in the meat area here." Vriska commented as she walked down the aisle, "I guess frozen produce could do just as well too." She could hardly make out the other girl through the dim of the unlit store. If they are still frozen, the girl added in her head. She knew the ice which kept the meats and produce cold would probably melt and while they may stole cold for a bit and absorb the low temperature off of the foods beside them, that would never last. It was truely a wonder that the Scorpio couldn't smell the meat that was likely rotting at the other end of the store.
