Welcome to Cottonwood's Driving Show!

What is it?
We will be hosting a harness show with three different categories of competition and one for those who don't have a horse the enter.
How do I enter?
Well first you have to pick which category your horse goes in.
Pleasure driving:
Horses and ponies are usually hitched to a light, two-wheeled cart and shown at a walk and two speeds of trot, with an emphasis on manners. Nearly any breed of horse can be trained for pleasure driving.
Draft showing:
Draft horses here will compete in single hitches, judged on manners and performance.
Fine harness:
Horses are hitched to a light cart and shown in a manner that emphasizes flashy action and dramatic performance. Refined pony breeds and certain light saddle horse breeds noted for their action are most often seen in fine harness. Most fine harness competition requires horses to perform a bit of a walk, and two types of a high-action "park" trot, a slow trot with more controlled but elegant action, and a faster, flashier trot where the horse exhibits the most animation possible, often announced by the command "show your horses".
Examples of entry forms:
Username: user1
horse's name: cupcake
horse's breed: hackney
entry:story
Username: user1
Horse's name: sparkles
horses breed: Clydesdale
entry: digital art
What do I have to do the enter?
Simple, it just depends on how many entries (max of three) you want to make. Under each category there will be three sub-section: digital art, traditional art, and story. You pick the one you want to enter, you can only have one piece of art or story per entry per horse. You can enter each sub-section however you can not enter more than twice in a category, ex entering a story and digital art in fine harness (each with a different horse) and traditional art in drat horse is fine, but entering all three in pleasure driving is not.
You don't have to make digital, traditional and a story you can mix and match or just pick one whatever works for you but you can't have two of the same in a category, so if you wanted to do only digital art then you would have to enter all categories or enter less than three.
How many horses can I enter?
A maximum of three. You can enter no more than two in the same category, ex two horses in pleasure driving and one in draft is ok but two stories in fine harness is not
what about me? I don't have a horse to use.
You can heads over to our driving school and pick a horse to learn with. You will have you own competition there for you.
