I watched wide eyed as the two battled. The shadow wolf pinned the wolf-drake and bit into its neck, the wolf-drake howled and clawed the wolfs underbelly. The shadow wolf whined and leapt off. The wolf-drake bit into the shadow wolfs shoulder and tried to pin it to the ground. The shadow wolf tore free and tackled the wolf-drake. The two rolled off the road and into the forest, the snarling continued until their was a yelp. After that their was nothing but eerie silence. I saw Angle in the distance and squinted to see her.

Jennifer sighed. "You're not a monster! I don't love monsters, but I love you!"

I eyed the underbrush were they rolled off, suddenly the shadow wolf limped out from the underbrush.

I stood up and eyed the shadow wolf as it limped onto the road. Suddenly the wolf-drake appeared again from the underbrush and the shadow wolf whipped around to face it.
