Wynter looked around and spotted a small lion cub wandering around. "They must have just had a litter..." she said softly. The cub came up to the edge and tilted his head to the side.

He looked at the cub and smiled.

The cub pawed at the trio.

He wlked closer to the fence and gently placed his hand against it. "Hey there..", he said softly.

Negra
I saw another cub making sad faces at me. Her sibling was getting all the attention. I walked over to her, letting her lick my hand. I scratched her nose and she purred, closing her eyes.

He gently rubbed the cub's head and it licked his hand. "Wynter, do you want to pet him?", he asked, noticing that Negra had already found a cub to pet.

Winter shoved her hands in her pockets. "There aren't anymore that are bold enough to come over..."

"Come pet this one...", he offered, stepping back from the fance.

Wynter came over and the cub sniffed her hand. He smiled and nosed her fingers. Wynter giggled and pet his head.

I closed my eyes, sending my thoughts out to the cubs in the pen. A male bravely walked up to Wynter. "Here, you can pet this one so we each have one!" I said, pointing to it.
