I lean on the corral fence. Tossing an apple up and then catching it as it falls. I notice the stallion's beauty, a true desert horse. "Come here boy" I call quietly, hoping to earn his silent trust. I hold out the crisp red apple, knowing he must be hungry.

the stallion stares at the boy for a bit, before leaning his head down and carefully crunching the apple between his teeth, looking at the boy the whole while.

I smile, "You must have been starving huh.." I whisper, trying not to spook the seemingly gentle giant. Slowly, I instinctively reach out my hand for the horse to sniff after his meal.

the stallion sniffs the boys hand before playfully trotting to the other end of the corral, dareing the boy o chase him.

I laugh, jogging around the coral after the playful stallion. "Hey!"

I hold out a handful of oats to see what he thinks of them.

I watch as the boy jogs around the corral with the horse. Chuckling, I toss a few baby carots into the corral, just to see how the stallion reacts to the food.
