Here's a gorgeous buckskin chimera paint mare for you!
For this rare girl, tell me a fact about true chimera/calico patterned horses, and also give her a breed that might actually show these markings (chimera and pinto).
Owner:
Name:
Well, her show name is Caramel Patches, but I just call her Caramel or Patch.
Gender:
She is a Mare
Age:
She's 7 years old.
Breed:
'' She's quite a mixture - Quarter Horse x Thoroughbred x Gypsy Vanner.
She probably got the chimeric from the QH and the mane and tail from the Gypsy Vanner. She's also quite a speedy horse!
Coloration:
A magnificent Buckskin Chimera Tobiano
Fact about Chimera/Calico horses:
Although rare, equine 'fusion' chimeras, caused when twin foals fuse in the womb, do exist. For some reason, these chimeras tend to be brindle patterned.

This is simply gorgeous - will it increase our chances if we pretty up our forms? c:

Owner: hellohihi
Name: Secret Treasury (Secret)
Gender: Mare
Age: 8 Years
Breed: (Icelandic pony x paint) x Arabian horse <<Well, I saw an Icelandic pony with the markings one time...
Coloration: Buckskin Chimera Tobiano
Fact about Chimera/Calico horses:
In genetics, a chimera is an individual formed from two different cell lines. Scientists believe that it happens when two nonidentical twin embyos (fertilized eggs) fuse into one embryo very early in their development.
The embryo develops into a normal, complete individual that has two different DNA types. He or she might have kidneys that developed from one DNA type and a heart or skin cells from the other type. (This also counts for coats)

Gender: Mare
Age: 3 years old
Breed: Mustang x Tennessee Walker
Coloration: Buckskin Chimera Tobiano
Fact about Chimera/Calico horses:
Chimeras are the result of the fusing of fraternal twins in utero resulting in two sets of DNA in one horse. The dual DNA is not always manifested as brindle. Often it results in random patches of colors, giving them a calico like look. Chimeras can be seen in many animals and even humans. It has been known [in humans] that in genetic testing that the parent was not related to any of their offspring due to the two sets of DNA.
So full of hate were our eyes
That none of us could see
Our war would yield countless dead
But never victory
So let us cast arms aside
And like discard our wrath
Thou, in faith, will keep us safe
Whilst we find the path
