"The" Rares List Guide - Do not ask about new UR's!

In addition to adding the Advent list, I would suggest the Sunjewel be placed at the top of the list, above the zebras. From what I've seen in the past couple months, they are far and away the most valuable pet on CS.

Does anyone know if it will go "omg so rare!" or do you think it will stay very rare?

I sure hope they stay very rare. Sometimes I wish they'd go common. Scratch that, I wish it a lot. xD

I'm pretty sure they will stay at very rare for a while - could be wrong - but given there are re-releases, and so many more of them compared to UR's, it doesn't seem like OMG is in their near future. :3 Thankfully. 8D

Wasn't it always?? I think according to popularity the July PPS is rising,maybe one up soon but I'm not sure.
One more question is the demon pps rare for it's league?I haven't seen many at all,in fact almost never.

The Demon PPS is questionable...it might be up there around the Rose PPS/Target PPS/etc. Same with the Shima Wolf PPS. No one really knows though.

The Sunjewel is the most valuable/wanted, not the rarest. We were discussing it a few pages ago...oddly enough, the Dogtag will actually go before the Sunjewel or the Moonswirl. UR Cat might too - that one only got bumped down from OMG since the Advent calendar. It may be making a return eventually, like the UR Bwolf did.

Some people, like me, go by design, not rarity The nicer and cooler the design, the more I want it, even if it's just a common. For example, if I had a banana, and someone else had another OMG SO RARE! that was a nicer design, and since the full grown banana's kind of ugly (no offense to the bananas, or the artists, I just don't like it) to me, or maybe them, they might not trade just because they liked theirs more. Another real example that happened to me (I think) Somoene offered me a rare for my Christmas Zebra, but I didn't like the rare, because it was a rat or something, I cancelled. I just didn't like that rat . So yea, some people go by how cool it looks, not how rare it is

^ Heh, I would accept so fast. But that's because the pets I have left on my WL are so difficult to get. I would have to say, though, that rarity definitely factors into how much I want a pet. If a pet is beautiful but Very Common, it does diminish slightly in my eyes because...well, if everyone has it and are just giving it away for free, it doesn't feel as "special" anymore. But design is definitely a bigger factor - I don't love the Coon dogs or the July PPS, so I wouldn't bother getting them when I could be saving up for something I'm in love with like the Moonswirl or Sunback.
I actually took the Pink Sorbet off my wishlist because I loved the litter of 2nd gens so much, they were enough for me. ^^

It is important for traders to realize that even if their trade is super fair value-wise, the other person might just not want to trade a pet because it means more to them. The "How much is this pet worth?" and "Is this a fair trade?" threads give you advice about the pets objective value, but it's still your job to deal with the individual trader.

The UR Mint horse became OMG so rare! So would it be moved up on the list? Or is it going to stay in it's position now?

Good question...I dunno. It does seem odd to have an OMGsr! so far down. What's the demand of it compared to like, a banana?
