ello! lily is back! i'm sure you all missed me. i am here to say hello, yes, and to advertise an rp i'm working on in the land of advanced scribes. harry potter based, set actually at the same time as wolf's old 'a wizarding world' [mainly so that characters that were there could be put in it]. the plot, of course, is different, but just dropping it here.



this is a harry potter based rp, set in 2014. teddy lupin is beginning his sixth year, and victoire her fifth [she's supposed to be in her fourth yes i know shh], and the wizarding world has faded back into a time of peace. however, history has a tendency to repeat itself, and while voldemort may be long dead, there's no telling what may happen next...

I probably shouldn't be asking for another roleplay, furthermore a romance heavy one, but would anyone like a onexone based around that sole purpose? just a whole bunch of feel good fluff? I just really need something happy and light to write considering I've been doing nothing but really depressing angsty stuff lately ;u;

the plot I had in mind is basically the classic girl and guy, already in a solid relationship- maybe even a tad bit older to the point they're already married. the catch [because there has to be a catch] is they're not exactly human. the female is a vampire, the male a werewolf. I know that sounds a tad cliché, but I didn't mean like anything you see today. not twilight-esque, but also not supernatural like either. I mean the originals. Dracula style vampires who could shape shift into bats and hypnotize their victims, and werewolves who hated changing, but were cursed to do so when ever the moon is full. okay so maybe a little like supernatural ahah. though if anyone knows more on the history of these 'monsters' better than I and is interested on playing a more original version, I'm open for it. it also be kinda super adorable if when getting into arguments, they hissed/growled/bared fangs/showed claws at one another in a total just to intimidate never actually acting on it way, but maybe that's just my thought .y. anyways, back to the plot. I'm thinking the the two were your run of the mill, stereotypical movie monsters for a bit, living up to what Hollywood made them out to be because hey, you gotta have fun with your respective curses somehow, right? [either that, or they could have been trying to live normal lives/lived in hiding in the wilderness or what not.] or we could go a totally different route and give the world a little twist of knowing about these creatures and that they exist, to the point that some of the actually 'moral' ones live peaceful lives right along with their human counterparts.
we could even take it a step further and say there's even a type of Primary Anti-feral Strategic Taskforce- PAST for short [or something more creative -u-], an agency that functions a little like the FBI or homeland security, making sure all feral 'monsters' are tagged and tracked, and if they gain three strikes for anything from theft to killing, taken into containment/rehabilitation depending on how severe the crime. it's not uncommon many of these 'domestic' monsters even take up jobs with the agency, knowing more about their respective kind than the humans would. okay well this is getting way off topic, so let me get back to the characters we'd actually be playing. whether or not they met through this agency, or just on the street, or anything really, the point is everything changed for them. they both gave up their respective lifestyles in favor of settling down together, wedding- perhaps thinking about/attempting kids, but not being able to have them/found their lives too complicated to raise a child in. anyways, the roleplay is basically just about them and married life: the hardships, the ups and downs, and a whole ton of fluff. also perhaps the agency wanting them back, and them having to go on the run and what not, but that's neither here nor there.

so to wrap up: fluffy mxf marriage between a vampire and a werewolf, and the possibility of a way deeper plot as well. i'm thinking relaxed semi-lit, bout a good 250 words per response? the relaxed part not applying to spelling and grammar of course. no set limits on when to post, just something to come home to and smile about would be nice. which, speaking of, arguments between the two are to be expected, but it should be a functioning marriage. I'm looking for fluff here, so I'd really like these characters to actually love each other ;u; alright, so long rambley request over, any takers?

basic plot would be the villains banding together, i guess, and disney princesses and stuffs are all like 'woo bad guys let's defeat them and stuff'.

I would be more than happy to be your partner on this. I have no active role plays going on right now so i'm pretty free, i'm able to reply at least once every day or two. I think this plot is absolutely wonderful, and I need to get back into the swing of role playing, so the 250 word thing sounds perfect. this isn't really a roleplay idea, but since we are the semi-literate and literate roleplayer's club, i thought that maybe this might be the best place to post this potential idea, unless it has been done already.

i want to write a novel.
but, you know, i've never done so, and i've written short stories about 10-15 pages long max.
i was wondering, if we could branch and create another thread for people who want to write stories, short or long, and give advice, moral support, criticism, etc. or even just help with muse.
anyone in?
i'd love even if it is a group of 2 or 3 people who want to write a bit to blow off steam or to write because they are passionate about it. we could dedicate a thread to motivating us, and all of that stuff. you wouldn't have to even share your writing. maybe just post updates about how it's going or ask questions like "is this sentence grammatically correct?" or "how do you convey this sort of emotion?" or even something like "what is the word that means blahblahblah?" and so on.

so, anyone in? i'll make a thread once a few people are in on it.
even if you've never thought about it, it'll be awesome <3
