Ashstar nodded, "We can at least offer you some bedding to sleep on for the night, I'm sure we have some to spare." Ashstar offered to the cat, changig the subject. "Come, I'll have Cloudfoot fetch you some, she seems to have found the most moss. Where are you from?" She asked, but with no suspicion in her voice. She wondered if Nika had been on AngelClan territory for awhile. She thought this while walking closer to the bay with Nika, signaling Cloudfoot to come over.

Tigerfur left the two cats to talk. He didn't trust her, he never trusts cats outside of AngelClan.

Cloudfoot padded over to the two cats from Ashstars signal, she wondered who the new cat was.

Blackpelt looked at the newcomer suspiciously, she also didn't trust cats that could be a threat to AngelClan.

Ghosttail nodded weakly and struggled to get to his paws, not an easy feat when every inch of your body hurt. Ghosttail hissed in pain as he was able to get himself upright and limped heavily at the lake's direction, as he got there he took a sip at the cold water. Silverdust was right when it said it would soothe his throat, the water was helping already - though it would take quite a while for his voice to lose the scratchiness whenever he spoke.

Nika stared at Tigerfur as he walked off with her eyes still narrowed at him, she could tell the tom didn't trust her, but she was used to that reaction as it was one she had seen many times before, so she didn't take much offense. She shrugged at looked back at Ashstar, the leader waited for her to speak. "Oh! Well to be honest I don't "come" from somewhere, I used to have a home. But nowadays I just go everywhere I want to, y'know?" Nika said.

He hissed and lied back down next to Wrenpaw. He noticed how she nervously licked her chest and he decided to calm down for her sake. He didn't want her to worry how he'd react towards the newcomer.

Icefur silently and slowly got up making sure to not disturb Fogheart. She sat at the lake looking down and smiling sadly. She looked up at the sky silently hoping that starclan will help them through this horrible fire. She saw that fogheart was sleeping and licked him rapidly like a mother would do to her kit trying to wake him up.

Wrenpaw looked over at Frozenpaw as he laid down. She was grateful that he didn't do anything to upset both Ashstar and the new cat and purred her thanks at him. 'At least I don't have another thing to worry about.' Wrenpaw thought to herself. She looked over at the forest sighing softly as her home was still burning down, Wrenpaw flattened her ears and placed her head on her paws shutting her eyes tightly. Wrenpaw couldn't bear the sight of the flames, she instinctively pressed her fur into Frozenpaw's not caring about the reaction she would receive from him. 'Will anything be the same again?' She thought.

Fogheart opened his eyes, blinking a couple times to clear his vision as everything was a bit blurred. As his senses returned he realized someone had woken him up by licking him on the head, seeing as Icefur was the only cat near him, Fogheart just assumed it was her. He let a loud yawn which quickly turned into a cough, he managed to stop coughing after a few tries. He glanced at Icefur and smiled at her playfully in a way to lighten the mood. "I'm going to go get a drink." He wheezed out, standing up and padding towards the lake.
