Patchkit is the only kit in the group. Born of two WindClan warriors that had died in the disaster, he’s tannish with patches of black on his ears, nose, tail, and paws, thus giving him his name, with eyes of clear blue. He’s very small – smaller than usual for a kit – and most cats perceive him as weak, but that doesn’t stop this tiny tom. He’ll be the first to try anything, and is very curious. He defies all expectations of a kit his size and age. He isn’t afraid of much, not even the grumpiest elder. It takes a lot to chase him off, and he’s constantly asking questions. He’s fascinated by the customs of other clans, and many think he’s going to choose the path of a medicine cat. He will one day go from Patchkit to Patchpaw, and lastly to Patchnose.

.:Shadowscar is a ShadowClan warrior of 31 moons. This she-cat has misty blue/green eyes that seem to stare right through you.

She has white paws, tailtip, and muzzle. The rest of her pelt is medium slate grey with black stripes. She is very agile, which makes her quick and a good climber. Her tail is a little longer than most. She is not a broad shouldered cat and is not very tall either. Her fur is medium length. Her name, Shadowscar, has a reason for being what it is. Right after she was born, Shadowscar tried to roll into the shadow of the edge of the nursery. This and the color of her pelt compelled her mother, Greysky to name her kit Shadowkit. The scar part of her name came from the stripes on her pelt like scars. She was born in the beginning of leafbare. It had barely passed into it from leaffall. On the outside, Shadowscar looks like a distant cat. She often sits alone, but is always there to give advice. She seems calm and serene, but not lazy. She looks as if she has seen better days, which she has. Speech comes only if she is spoken to, and her words are more than often useful. Alot of cats wonder why she didn't become a medicine cat. They think that would have been a good position for her.

.:Shadowscar's personality is a hard one to explain. She likes solitude so she can think, especially nowadays, after the flood. She is more solenm than she used to be. She used to be a vibrant and excited young warrior, but since the flood, she

has become a bit sad and lonely and is much, much quieter. She is willing to empathize and give advice to other cats if approached. She does not mind company, and sometimes when she is thinking back to the day of the flood, which is rather often, she almost welcomes it. She is competitive by nature and is having trouble getting along with the ThunderClan survivors. If she is ever in a contest, she will fight to win. She hates losing and does not have an easy time dealing with it. It may not seem so skin deep, but she actually has some anger issues. She doesn't lash out at other cats in her anger, but thinks of a way to get them back later. It does take a lot to make her mad though. Despite all these things, she is generally easy to get along with. She doesn't have much of a sense of humor anymore, though she used to. She hates when other cats underestimate her physical abilities just because she generally moves slowly. She is good in battle and an able hunter. She uses her mind more than actions, now though. She cares about most everyone and doesn't wish a lot of cats harm. She loved the thrill of the fight before the flood. The action thrilled her, not the injuring of other cats. She still likes to train apprentices. She had an apprentice and best friend, Tawnypaw, but she was washed away before her very eyes in the flood. She has never been the same since that day.

.:Shadowscar lay in the forest on a bed of crisp leaf-fall leaves, basking in the warmth of the sun.

The tranquility of her surroundings was almost unreal. There were very few scuttlings from prey in the undergrowth, nor the flapping of birds wings or of their songs in the sky. The wind was strangely unactive and Shadowscar was able to relax. She was trying to clear her mind, a thing that only peace and serenity could even get close to being able to accomplish. For she had many things on her mind, most of which were troubling and complex. She wondered if a cloud would pass over her, blocking the calm warmth of the sun. She wondered if the wind would begin to blow, arousing her from her relaxing peace. She wondered other little things like that, but they were petty, not at all life changing and easy to forget. It was the questions on the aftermath of the flood and the memories of that fateful day that haunted her like a revenge-seeking DarkForest warrior, determined to bother her until her mind wandered away from all she knew. Of all the many questions swirling around in her mind, Are the survivors of the flood going to form a new Clan? Will we ever survive leaf-bare with only a medicine-cat apprentice? Can I ever get along with those troublesome ThunderClan cats? Do I have a choice? and Will I ever get over the happenings involved with the flood (especially the death of her best friend and apprentice)? were some often reoccuring ones. She looked up to the sky and asked StarClan to help it all just be over and that they would find a solution and notify the medicine cat apprentice of it. But she knew in her heart that that was not quite a possible option. She had the feeling that they would be doing most of the figuring out themselves. As she got up, she thought, But no matter whathappens, I must go on. I must go on.
