Donatello is a very smart equid. He loves to challenge himself mentally and strategize things and make them complicated. He seems to love to confuse others to the point they forget what the entire subject was about. Donatello isn't one for a lot of physical games and usually likes to learn more about the land and finding new things and sharing this information with others. He is a quick thinker and loves to joke around about things. He is pretty relaxed and social, though their aren't many that want to hand around someone who would rather learn new things than playing around. He can be a charmer unknowingly and just loves attention period.

Maybe something like Hemotoxin? It doesn't strictly have to do with snakes, but there are several types of snakes that use hemotoxins. It sort of matches his blood-red colour.
