Amberfeather padded towards the High-Stone, trying to think of what the occasion was this time. A new warrior? A new apprentice maybe?

Currentstar smiled and beckoned to Swimmingkit, who was still next to the Nursery. He came up, and she began, "Swimmingkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Swimmingpaw. Your mentor will be.. Flashfrost. I hope Flashfrost will pass down all he knows on to you." She said, calling Flashfrost to come up.

Flashfrost-
Flashfrost padded up to the High-Stone, and dipped his head to Currentstar. Turning to Swimmingkit, he smiled and touched noses with the new apprentice. "You'll do fine," he mewed softly, and smiled.

Emeraldeyes purred at the ew apprentice.

Swimmingpaw's eyes gleamed. Flashfrost! He would be a great mentor! And now he finally had the 'paw' at the end of his name. Hooray!

Currentstar
"Flashfrost, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from your own mentor, and you have shown yourself to be worthy and strong. You will be the mentor of Swimmingpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to him." Currentstar finished, joining the chanting. "Swimmingpaw! Swimmingpaw! Swimmingpaw!"

Flashfrost smiled, and joined in with the chanting. "Swimmingpaw! Swimmingpaw! Swimmingpaw!"
My first apprentice, he thought to himself, smiling. I'll do my best with him.
