she just shrugged as she bolted into the underbrush, coming out with a squirrel in her jaws.

He saw her catch a squirrel and said "Wow good job! my test worked, i didnt say nothing and you used your senses to figure out where it was"

she dropped the squirrel and glared at him, "test? what test? what would you need to test me for?"

she was insulted that he thought she was so useless as a hunter, or even as a dog, that he thought her 'senses' needed to be tested.

after she said that she picked up the squirrel and walked on.

He put his ears back of what she said and what he said and he said to himself "You are just as good as any other dog, but i didnt think you would be insulted when i said that" he said softly to himself and walked the other way, thinking that she wouldnt want to talk to him, she said to himself "Ugh, i got to work on my talking skills so badly" then he continued to walk
