After I finish my packing, I sit on my bed. Reaching in my pocket, I pull out my cell phone and start pressing buttons, calling someone in my phone-book, and hold it up to my ear.

Jennifer heard her phone ringing as someone called her. She didn't want to answer it. She picked her phone just to check who was calling her and she saw it was Briar. Maybe it was somehing important for her to be calling her. She made an effort and answered it. "Hey... Why you calling?" She asked her trying not to get her to know she was a little sad.

I hear Jen's voice on the other line and sigh. "Oh, no reason," I say. "It's just really quiet here in my room alone. I was trying to find someone who might be willing to talk to me."
