General Appearance :: Serena has long, mousy-brown hair that falls mainly straight just past her shoulder-blades with a lot of highlights(kind of blondey-gold) on top and some lowlights(dark brown) underneath the majority of her hair, all completely natural. Her hair is easily tangled in wind though she loves it being so long and rarely puts it up. She has light, hazel-y eyes that have lighter brown flecks all dotting around the iris. Often, in the morning, they can turn into a very light, hazel-y-green colour and later in the day(evening) possibly shading into a dark brown. She stands at about five foot six, maybe five foot seven in height and is of a slim and somewhat fragile frame though she has long legs and seems flexible and speedy. She has a natural tan from spending so much time in the sun but it is not overly distinct.
Body modificationѕ :: No piercings(not even her ears) or tattoos. A couple of scars dotting here and there on her anatomy from an active childhood but none too noticeable other than one on the inner-side of her elbow, long and jagged and with large marks spreading off from when her flesh was sewn back together.

Personality :: Shika is usually labelled as shy. She's a gentle girl who will give comfort to anyone she sees in a tough spot. She finds it hard to start conversations with new people even though she loves to hear what others think. She's very helpful and works hard at whatever she is trying to do, being a very determined person. It's a very rare occasion when she gets angry, even rarer when she yells, but when she does it's not pretty at all. She's often a rather chirpy girl when she's used to the people she's around, all smiles and laughter, but is silent and remains wary of those she doesn't know. She's rather intelligent and strategic though she is often forgotten when plans are being made and so her thoughts often go to waste. She lives more in her mind than most people, choosing her imagination over reality during bad times, which is why she's so quiet. She has a very dark space of mind she doesn't let others know about and though she tries to act like it's nothing she usually has 'voices' playing in the background of her mind. She enjoys running and swimming as well as gymnastics but really enjoys reading, writing and drawing/sketching(maybe some painting, but no other art types).
History :: Born in England she was the second daughter to the Sarthway family. Her mother and father were only on holiday there and they quickly went back to New Zealand. Childhood was fine for the two, though with her brother Augustus four years older the two found it difficult to play but loved each other very much, often having talks late into the night. Their parents fought a lot but Augustus usually shielded Serena from the worst of it so she remained slightly unaware. Though she was a nice girl people often bullied her because she was a little different. First it was nothing bad, just a few names being thrown at her. Later things were being thrown and the insults were worse. By the time she was fourteen Serena had dealt with severe bullying that had actually resulted in being attacked with a knife(the reason for the scar on her arm). Augustus noticed at this point and tried to look out for her but still it continued. Her parents divorced shortly after her injury and she stuck with Augustus the entire time, regardless of which parent they visited and found him to be the most supportive of her family. Serena found she had very high marks in class(never slipping below a B/85%) though remains indecisive of what she wants to be when older. Augustus was the first to be accepted to School of the Arts but couldn't go until he could afford to pay for himself, allowing him only to leave at the age of nineteen to pursue his career. Alone, Serena worked hard to get good grades and manage several jobs. When she was sixteen she was accepted and though it took a couple more months to get the right amount, Serena found herself soon on her way to school of the Arts.
Likes :: Running, gymnastics, reading, writing, animals, sweets/lollies, music, dancing(all kinds, but mostly ballet), cats, tea, strawberries, learning, anime, drawing, proper grammar and spelling, architecture and being praised.
Dislikes :: 'Populars'(guys and girls, usually people she has been bullied by), cruelty, being bullied, being cold, liquorice, killing things, using the Lord's name in vain, being cast out, being forced to do things, dentists, vaccinations, the government, elevators(she feels like she is suffocating in them, as well as tunnels), pig meat(bacon/ham/pork, anything, she can't stand it), sting rays, preying mantises and knives/needles/sharp things.
Strengths :: Serena is surprisingly fast and flexible. She is very intelligent and strategic. She's a rather good writer and drawer. She is a very determined(and stubborn) girl at times.
Weaknesses :: Her mental state. Being bullied. Her strength(not very strong). Being cold(she's slow and shaky). She gets scared very easily. Thinking about her parents.

She is alright at riding a motorcycle but not very good. She's also surprisingly good at violin and knows a little bit about how to play the piano(taught by Augustus).

General Appearance :: Augustus has hair the same colour as Serena's that falls messily on his head as depicted in the image. He rarely attempts to clear it up and lets it fall how it wishes. His eyes are a very dark gold-y green colour with a ring of blue around the edge of the iris. He has a definite tan from spending so much time at the beach(roughly the same as Serena's) and is slightly above average height(standing at six foot five) for a male his age. He is of an athletic build but not overly done(as in, toned and with muscles but not to, say, Taylor Lautner extent). He has a rather large tattoo of headphones being 'plugged into his wrist' on his right forearm.

Personality :: Augustus is more of a loner-guy. He can't work with strangers and often thinks people aren't worth his time. He's a bit of a grouch and has either two moods, one where he is rather serious and hates if people don't take it seriously and one where he is so calm and relaxed he doesn't care. If he must, he will work swiftly and make sure that the plan is pretty much fool-proof and usually on his own. He is a perfectionist and if it isn't up to his standard it is not finished. He has a passion for music and can play guitar, piano, bass guitar and drums. When he finds times difficult, he just thinks up a song and plays it in his head. He is the gentleman, however, always being polite and helping ladies and being considerate enough of guys(unless he likes them then he treats them similar to how he treats girls). If you manage to befriend him he will become a little more relaxed and may even laugh once or twice with you. Not the most romantic(by this, I mean he's a complete flop. He tries his best, it just isn't part of who he is) and nothing ever goes his way. He seems very nonchalant towards everything but gets protective over certain people way too quickly and will go out of his way to keep them safe and happy. He sometimes is a bit mean and then instantly regrets it and will do anything to take back what he said and make the person he offended happy. He does have a bit of a hot-headed temper and can get very angry if pushed too far, though that's rare as he's often rather docile and stoic.
History :: Born the first child to Sandrea and Enzo, he grew up learning Italian and English. He was a good child and loved but his parents still suffered difficulties in their marriage. The scars left from his childhood were deep and not only psychological. When Serena came along he vowed to protect her from the worst of it and did. The pair were comforted by one another and grew up the best of friends. Augustus hated being told what to do and thoroughly despised school. He made some friends, not many, and was incredibly intelligent(always in the top percent of his class). He never dealt with bullies, proving rather strong emotionally and physically. He never knew a thing about Serena's bullying issues as she never told him but as soon as he found out he threatened the perpetrators. After that he couldn't get along with people and just settled on his few friends. He grew to love making things with his hands, loving sculpting and woodwork classes. He was also a big fan of gaming. The problems at home settled once his parents broke up but he became worried about Serena who grew ever quieter and withdrawn. Though he was offered a spot at the School of the Arts, he had no money and was concerned about what would happen to Serena if he left. After some talks and years of saving, Augustus made it to the School of the Arts, bringing along his motorcycle(he made from scratch, having started it at the age of thirteen). He found he liked the school and worked hard so he could attend it every year, his parents barely putting in anything.
Likes :: Woodwork, sculpting, creating, music, his little sister, playing chess, playing drums/guitar/bass/piano, perfection, being lucky, pizza, food, tea(hooked on it by Serena), riding his motorcycle, creating music(singing, playing...), being alone, reading and sleeping.
Dislikes :: Copious amounts of water, large crowds, the idea of losing those he loves, his parents, losing, people hurting those he loves, not finishing things(or not getting them up to a certain standard), death, blood(squeamish), soy sauce, silence, being underestimated, men who do not respect women(and vice versa), being told what to do, spiders(an absolute hate), large birds and awkward situations.
Strengths :: He's a relatively strong guy. He's not to be underestimated on speed, either. Very intelligent and calculating, he's good at maths and creating things and he is good at putting his emotions aside and thinking logically about things(unless it concerns Serena).
Weaknesses :: His little sister(he'd do anything for her). Spiders(severe arachnophobia). Large amounts of water(he can't swim well). He's hopeless at socialising and he gets sea-sick very easily.
