You are a teenager, or perhaps a young adult, ranging in age from 14-25, just getting home from your regular day. You find an envelope in your mailbox, entitled, School of the Arts, and you can't help but be curious. So, entering your house, you open it up..
Hello, Hello! And congradulations! You have been selected to join us at school here on Half-Note, a tropical island off the coast of California. We chose you for your artistic ability, or perhaps your sports abilities, and are willing to give you a full scholarship to our school, the School of the Arts. We offer both a high school and a college experience, different buildings of course, but right next to each other. The professors we have, as well as our coaches, are the top of the line. We know you are different, you don't really fit in where you are, but on Half-Note, I guarantee that you will. Our island itself is quite beautiful, with a small mall, mainly made up of our own unique stores, a small spa, three fabulous restaurants, and a movie theatre. You will be living on the island, sharing a house with three or so roommates, both male and female. Pets are allowed, although I must say there is a limit of five, and if your grades slip past a C in more than three classes, we will have to send you back home.

I grew up the normal way. My parents were together, we lived in a pretty nice home, i had a dog and went to high school. The reason why I am a little unstable mentally is when I was a senior in highschool, i was the schools football quarterback and when my ex-girlfriend killed herself... I blamed a lot of it on me. I wasnt very nice to her at the very end and I really hate myself for that. I have been through therapy and I am getting better When I started getting tattoos my family started to shun me a little, i mean I know they still love me... but they dont approve of me.

Keelan is a quiet observer. She isn't shy, but she doesn't really talk unless she feels like she has too, or needs too. She is mature in her own way, having to grow up faster than normal. She is blunt and can come off a bit rude and over the top, but she isn't afraid to be herself.

Tap, tap, tap --> Keelan taps her fingers when she is nervous, usually on her legs or table tops.

Hi guys! I'm Aspen Gabrielle Parter. I'm currently 18 years old and happily living on my own in my own apartment. Alright, Uhm, where should I even being. I mean, I guess I should start off with how I am? Or...things I like? Alright, We'll go with my personality I guess. Alright, here we go. Well, I've heard I'm quite skittish around new people, which I am. I mean, I haven't had the best past and I don't trust very easy so I'm pretty skittish. I'm fairly secure with the small set of friends that I already have and I don't want to expand my horizons anytime soon. Anyways, I am a pretty nice person, I have a hard time saying 'no' to anyone, so most of the time I get sucked into things I really don't want to do. I'm soft spoken, meaning I'm super quiet when I talk, I don't know, I just got a soft voice is all. But once I really get to know someone and trust them, I can get a little out of hand. I'm quite childish and hyper, which is both a downer and something good. I love to have people smile, so I try and tell jokes, even if they are really corny most of the time. Alright, Some things I find pleasure in is Photography, singing, dancing(Not any good), joking, and the sun, well mostly anything in nature really. Alright, things I really hate are water, abuse, cheaters, football, loud and sudden noises, and thunder storms. Now it's time for some things I really hate.
My past. Alright, I don't mean to be a downer, but my past isn't the best at all. I grew up in a small town with two drug addicted parents. It was never fun coming home to see your parents getting high or doing whatever, I was constantly beat for things I never did. I had to be a perfect daughter in their eyes, I had to clean, cook, anything you could think of. Anyways, when I was about 15 and a half, I ran away, and lived on the streets. I worked at a small music store for a guy I knew pretty well. That's really where my love of music came from. Anyways, I meant a guy name Drake, and I thought he was the one, boy was I sadly mistaken. About a month into the relationship he started to get a little rough, he'd push me around and leave bruises. I was with him for 2 years before I had enough courage to get out, and ever since then, I haven't dated or even thought about a guy being any more then a friend. Anyways, I have no love life, no crush or anything, I'm single and defiantly not ready to mingle.
