With a light smile to Zayden and a scowl to Blake, Jayden nodded at the little boy's request. "Bridge next to a river? Got it!" Norman juggled the phone in his hand. "Alright, buddy, I need you to calm down, alright? Is anyone hurt?"
"Yes." Shaun said with panic writhing in his voice.
"Dad is. Norman, he's trapped in the car!""Sh, sh. Is anyone else? What about you?" He asked gently.
"Yeah. There's glass everywhere and my arm and head have big chunks of glass in it! Norman, we need help!""Shaun. We're on our way, it's ok. But what we need you to do is to calm down, alright? Now. What I want ya to do is get to a safe place away from the wreck, alright? Are you on Ethan's phone?"
"Yeah." The ten year old responded shakily.
"Alright. Shaun it's a little rainy out here, so what I need you to do is to please raise the phone in the air and wave and flash it, ok? We need to see you." The agent replied softly and gently.
"Alright!" Shaun yelled into the phone as he lifted it up.
" I got it, it's flashing.""Ok, great, thank you. How about the other car? Anyone in it?"
"Jayden, what's going on?" Blake asked, a little jostled from the commotion.
"Blake, do you know any place with a bridge and a river on the way to a Mexican restaurant?"
"Yeah." He answered, shrugging. "Why?"
"There's been a wreck, we need to go. Now!" Jayden yelled, rushing out into the freezing rain, "Drive!" he commanded.
(( It's fine.
